Good afternoon people, hope your all having a good day and have got that "Friday feeling" 😎
Below is a pic (not the clearest I know, but hopefully clear enough to be seen) of my times over the last 3 weeks of performing a 1000m row "as fast as pos" which I've started to do at the end of my workout on "day 4" / Friday ..
As you can see each week it's only been a very small amount of time shaved off the previous weeks time (Week 1 = 3min 30.7 sec, Week 2 = 3min 29.6 sec & Week 3 = 3min 27.1 sec) but I just wanted to shed light on the fact that when performing to your maximal effort whether it be cardio related or weight related then this small amount of time (or that small amount of weight) is actually a massive amount of time in terms of your maximal effort improving (hope you get the idea here) ..
So if in future you are performing to your maximum effort "as fast as pos", 1 rep max, AMRAP (as many reps as possible)" then keep pushing to get that one second off your time, that one small 1.25kg plate on top of your one rep max or that 1 extra rep when performing "AMRAP" ..
Visually this may not look much but mentally & physically these are massive improvements and 👣 in the right direction to growing fitter & stronger 👍🏻💪🏻
If you (or anyone you may know) are finding it hard to push yourself to this point then this is something I can certainly help your to find within yourself & help you to achieve so please don't hesitate to get in contact with me ..

Good Morning People, hope you are all well & have had a good start to your day/week ..
Just a little bit of Monday morning motivation from me ...
Remembering when approaching training (& life in general) you will always face obstacles, have bad days/weeks, may have ate/drank a load of "rubbish" over the weekend (we've all done it) & now feel there is no point in continuing towards your health/fitness goals etc but the most important thing is that you dust your self off and keep on going 💪🏻
The process is on going, it never stops, so once you can manage to grasp that and allow yourself to fall down & also get back up then you will surely be in a better place than if you give up altogether ..
The longer you leave it, the more you have to make up for, but it's never to late, late is better than never !!!
If you need that extra bit of help or know of any one else who might need it, don't hesitate to get in contact with me/put the person you know in contact with me..
Things I provide:

Good afternoon people, hope you are all well as always ..
Today id like to enlighten you on the importance of recovery ..
When approaching training, understanding that recovery is just as important as the training it self is vital ..
In this modern day I see it isn't so hard for people to bring themselves to the gym, out for a long run, attend a class etc and give all they've got ..
But the thing people struggle with the most is doing the right things to recover ..
Things to take on board to recover in the best way are:
1: Rest - Getting enough hours & good sleep
2: Hydration - Drinking enough of and a good source of water
3: Nutrition - Eating good sources of food, organic where possible & whole foods. Add variety.
4: Stretch - Set aside time in your day for some stretching (even if it's only 10-15 mins)
5: Foam Rolling &/or Massage: Stretching alone isn't enough, foam rolling or regular massages are needed to break down and release the Myofascial build up created through regular training ...
There are many more ways to help towards recovery but I'd say they are 5 of the most important ..
"Days off" shouldn't be taken as a day to sit on the sofa etc..
Treat them like you would a training day and use those days as "active recovery" to incorporate some of the things described above & see the benefits this has for you ..
Taking a gentle walk, light swim etc.. Are also good alternatives ...
Some brief benefits of doing so are: Weight loss, muscle recovery/building, improved strength, reduce risk of injury, improved flexibility/mobility, more energy & strength to give to your next session .. & there are many more!
So if your training hard and not experiencing much of the above be sure to focus on these things & on the other hand if your already doing these things then keep up the good work 👍🏻
Remembering "Balance" in everything you do is key. Just as hard as you focus on your training (or whatever you do etc..)
you want to be equally focusing on the other/opposite thing which in this case is recovery ..
So, I hope this helps you out in some way, if you take on board these things and have a good experience please share it with me as I'd be happy to hear about this..
Also if you or anyone you know would like help with any of the following things please don't hesitate to get in contact with me or put the person you know in contact with me, this would be much appreciated 👍🏻

Good Morning People, hope you are all well & have had a good start to your day & week ..
As I haven't posted anything for the last 2 weeks or so / have been quiet since I started with the regular posts I thought I'd share with you all why that is (what I've been up to) ..
I was away for roughly a week in Florida attending a "Dynamic Meditation Retreat" & then I spent time training & learning from the best coaches at a gym called "Strength Camp".
You can see (briefly) both of these places/activities where the "Dynamic Meditation" & Training took place in the pic that I've attached below/with this post ..
In case you are unfamiliar with what "Dynamic Meditation" is its a form of Meditation which originated from a guy called Osho.
Meditation itself is a form of practices that help regulate the body & the mind ..
"Dynamic meditation" is a much more active/physical approach to meditation and I would invite you to further look into it to understand it on a deeper level than what I'm briefly describing to you here ..
On the other hand if it's something which you are interested in/would like to know more about then feel free to message me any questions that you may have ..
Meditation is a vital part to becoming stronger, healthier, happier etc ..
The modern day that we live in we rarely find time to "go in" and shut off from all the endless activities, work & chaos that's around us ..
Meditation will help ground you and find peace in the centre of the storm 😇
There are many forms of Meditation not just "Dynamic Meditation" & I'd recommend/invite you to try and incorporate at least one into your daily life and then reap the benefits of this ..
I will begin with regular posts again this week, hope you are all well like I said and I'm wishing you all good health, happiness & strength 😬💪🏻🙏🏻

Happy Easter Everyone 😬
As the clocks went forward last night and we all "lost" an hour of sleep (if you didn't go to bed an hour earlier or wake up an hour later that is) I thought it would be a good time to cover the topic of sleep and the Importance of it 🕑
Not getting enough sleep is much more harmful to our health than you may think/pay attention to & may well be a major factor that is holding you back with achieving any desired health & fitness goals that you may have.
Remembering that muscles are "Torn In The Gym, Fed In The Kitchen & Built In The Bed" is a good saying to take on board 😴💪🏻...
(This doesn't just apply for building muscle, this applies for loosing weight & many more things also ..)
Below in the pic is 5 important factors to the importance of our sleep and there are many more!
So if you aren't already getting those hours in each night (not playing catch up on certain nights) make a small commitment to aim for a minimum of 7 hours a night but generally 8-10 hours is a good guideline (if you can manage it) and see the benefits this will have on your health/fitness & most importantly your life !!
Any way, I hope this very simple but often overlooked topic can be a gentle reminder of the importance of sleep & helps you in one way or another ..
I hope you've all enjoyed your Easter Sunday 🙏🏻
