Hard work really does pay off. 💪⚽
I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’ve successfully secured a place on the next FAW / UEFA Goalkeepers B Licence course with the Football Association of Wales.
It’s been a journey of learning, development and pushing myself to keep improving as a coach, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue that growth at the next level.
Excited for the challenge ahead, to learn from top coaches, and to keep developing the goalkeepers I work with every day. 🧤
The work continues. 🔴

My time at Oxford United Official has come to an end, I have come to the very difficult decision to step down from my role as Academy GK Coach.
I just want to thank everyone at the club for the opportunity, support and experiences that I have had over the last year 💛 Best of luck for the rest of the season ⚽️💪🏼

It’s that time of year at Wycombe Wanderers Foundation when we conduct player reviews for our EDA and GDA participants. It’s wonderful to have one-on-one conversations with the players and receive their feedback.
I always ask my goalkeepers two key questions:
- What have you enjoyed most during training this season?
- What would you like to see more of next season?
These insights are invaluable for planning future sessions tailored to the players’ needs!

🚨Update🚨
I wanted to share an update on my injury.
Yesterday, I received my MRI results. The good news is that everything is still attached to my knee. However, the MRI did not scan everything needed, as the doctors want to assess potential damage to my quadriceps higher up my leg. The next step is to wait for an appointment with the orthopedic specialist and get another MRI on my quadriceps. Unfortunately, if there’s a tear in my quadricep muscle, it might be too late for surgical repair, which is typically done within the first few months of the injury 👎🏼.
This is incredibly frustrating since I first sought medical attention back in January, and the process has been slow. Recently, a misstep caused my knee to collapse, making it feel as it did on day one of the injury and setting me back to the beginning of rehab ☹️.
I can’t afford private treatment, so I’m relying on the NHS to help me get better quickly. The injury is significantly impacting my life and work. I hope the next steps are swift so I can address this before it worsens or becomes irreparable. If it doesn’t improve, I might have to stop coaching and find a less physically demanding job ☹️.
For now, I’m focusing on recovery to get back to coaching fully 💪🏼💪🏼.
