On Saturday 3rd October Rivermead Leisure Centre is proud to be hosting ParalympicsGB’s Paralympic Potential event, giving women and girls with a physical or visual impairment the opportunity to discover which Paralympic sport could be right for them.

You don’t need to already compete in a Paralympic sport, all you need is an interest in sport and competition, plus a base level of fitness.

Make a splash and join the fun!

Calling all swimmers aged 60+! Get together with friends, form a team of up to 6, and take on the Better Club Games Timed Swim of 2026. Swim as many lengths as you can in 45 minutes - it’s all about teamwork, fun and staying active!

Our 20th Anniversary for the Club Games, Timed Swim will be taking place on Wednesday 30th September, 9:30 – 11:30am at Rivermead Leisure Centre.
