While I appreciate to some this may seem highly narcissistic, I think it's the best way I can keep on top of my obligations as a sponsored pilot, post lots of hopefully inspiring content for the future generations of XC pilot and keep some element of my private life private! Here's a pic of the rozzers who got called because I was climbing away from low over Melton Mowbray like an absolute legend yesterday. They'll never catch me!
Hope we don't fly at the Club Class tomorrow, suspect I'm going to feel a little worse for wear

SunAir Cup Day 8: likely the last day and George White Gliding is only 130 points off the lead. Should be a high scoring day so stay tuned to see how we do!
No finishers at the Lasham Regionals yesterday. Don’t know what all the fuss was about, weather looked fine so I’d have set a 400km for sure and completed it

For those that don’t know, this was a casting photo from my audition for Top Gun 2. I was offered the leading role of course but had to turn it down as I was busy planning for my 750km attempt last weekend
Looks like a tricky day at the Lasham Regionals. I now don't bother with flying unless it's a 750 day (attempted distance of course, not actual)

Almost had a 750 in the bag...cloudbase didn't get very high all day, and only got in th groove from Solent to Cotswold edge. Very tired after that 9 hour effort - thanks to Piers-Rex Murray for being mad enough to join me and for Oli Summerell for making me look good by landing out so early in the day
