Berlin Sunday β in Quorn π
Todayβs session was inspired by a stay in Berlin many years ago, where Sundays seemed to bring everything to a beautiful standstill.
This morning, our focus was Cardamom β both as an essential oil and as an aromatic addition to our delicious Orange, Olive Oil & Cardamom cake π§
Cardamom is traditionally valued for its therapeutic properties, including:
π« Analgesic β pain relieving
π« Anti-inflammatory
π« Calmative β calming and soothing
It can be supportive for digestive and respiratory health, while also helping to ease feelings of mental fatigue and exhaustion.
Our asana practice brought together Forrest Yoga, encouraging strength and confidence, with Yin, inviting us to soften, surrender and simply - stay. A beautiful balance of Yang and Yin π§π»ββοΈ
And to accompany our practice? Tulsi (Holy Basil) tea with Turmeric, Ginger & Cinnamon β quite possibly the most healing cup of tea youβll drink π
Today, we explored the idea of reducing rather than adding.
Instead of always asking - "What more can I do?β, we considered:
"Is the way Iβm practising my yoga helping me β or hindering me?β
Sometimes the most powerful shift comes, not from adding something new but from gently letting something go.
πΏ Our next collective: Sunday 8 November 10:00β12:30 @ Quorn Church Rooms

Protect your peace, stay true and be the change you want to see in the world π
