Pwllheli Sailing Club's May Day Series 2026 The May Bank Holiday weekend in Pwllheli combined round the cans inshore racing on Sunday and Monday with a coastal race on Saturday.

Looks like a great location to watch this weekend’s racing.
1200 warning signal Saturday for a coastal race out to Gwylan islands and back. Once out of view you can keep up to date on progress by watching the YB tracker. On the way to the finish line at the Pwllheli fairway, boats will pass round the S&S Tyres mark (number 7) giving everyone at Gimblet Rock Holiday Park superb views of boats and crews.
Sunday and Monday racing is around the racing marks, starting from Gimblet Rock at 0900.

Next racing in the bay is 2-4May (May bank holiday weekend). Come and join us, either on the water or watch from ashore.

ISORA Coastal race 2 at Pwllheli Sailing Club This weekend presented champagne sailing for Pwllheli boats, however early light conditions on Saturday morning prompted the race management to shorten the course of the clubs's ISORA coastal race to ensure everyone got a finish.

Well done to all our sailors. Tremendous achievements all round, both inshore and offshore and also further afield on some fine adventures.

Although the scheduled racing has come to an end for this year, get in touch if you’d still like a race and we’ll hook you up with others still eager to get out there. Pwllheli Santa Special and Christmas Prize-giving 2025 Winds gusting to force 11 on Friday afternoon put paid to the launch of the J70s and also discouraged the change of sails for many of the cruisers wanting to join the Santa Special race.
