This week we had Sensei Frank Brennan visit us for a training session and Kyu Grading. Congratulations to those that Graded!

Great day yesterday and the 59th KUGB KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) National Championships in Nottingham!

The KUGB celebrated its 60th year, and significantly for our club, Sensei Mike Johnstone was awarded a certificate in recognition of his 50 Years membership of the KUGB!

Congratulations from everyone at the club, we are all very proud!

Our competitors on the day, Georgia, Izzy, Kathryn and Olly all performed well, with coaching from Sensei Daniel on the day, and we also had Sensei Mark on officiating duties.
Also, thanks to our parents and families for your support as well.

Following their recent Dan Grading success, Georgia has now received her Nidan certificate and Kathryn has received her Shodan certificate from the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain). Again congratulations and well done to both!

Back to training tomorrow! We are looking forward to seeing club members starting strong for 2026!
