๐Ÿค ๐ŸŽ YEEHAW! WHO knew that Cowgirl Cricket was a thing?๐Ÿโœจ

What a rootinโ€™, tootinโ€™ rip-roaring evening of cricket, camaraderie and cowgirl spirit at PCC! Seven teams saddled up from far and wide across the North (Wild) West, ready to battle it out for the coveted Terence Prendergast Trophy. ๐Ÿ†

There were Pink Stetsons and double denim as far as the eye could see, plenty of sixes flying over the fences and some mighty fine cricket played by an incredible bunch of women and girls. ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ’ช

After a night of buckinโ€™ wickets, mighty swings and plenty of yeehaws, it all came down to a thrilling final between the Cowboy Yorkers and Silverdale Wicket West.

With the light fading fast, the cowgirls certainly didnโ€™t ride off into the sunset! ๐ŸŒ… The commitment, determination and team spirit stayed firmly in the saddle until the very last ball.

And when the dust finally settledโ€ฆ ๐Ÿฅ๐ŸŽ

๐Ÿ† THE COWBOY YORKERS WERE VICTORIOUS! ๐Ÿ†

They rode away with the afore mentioned TP Trophy. What a way to finish a fantastic evening of womenโ€™s and girlsโ€™ cricket!

A huge howdy and hats off to all seven teams who took part. The standard of cricket, the laughter, the competitive spirit and the support between teams made it a night to remember.

Seven teams. One trophy. One heck of a hoedown. ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ซ

Hereโ€™s to the women and girls who keep saddling up, stepping up and smashing it out of the park!

Congratulations to The Good, The Bad and The Bowlers from Great Eccleston who won Best Dressed!

Thanks always to those behind the scenes who made it all work, the bar staff, the womenโ€™s team (and their other halves!), committee and everyone who came down to support . I see you. Thank you xx

And wasnโ€™t Victoria Country Folk Rock Pop Singer brilliant? A great set, fitting for the theme with some classics to keep those cowboy boots moving past sundown.

And SliceBros Pizza ๐Ÿ• yummy as always ๐Ÿ•

YEEHAW! ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ
