🤠🐎 YEEHAW! WHO knew that Cowgirl Cricket was a thing?🏏✨

What a rootin’, tootin’ rip-roaring evening of cricket, camaraderie and cowgirl spirit at PCC! Seven teams saddled up from far and wide across the North (Wild) West, ready to battle it out for the coveted Terence Prendergast Trophy. 🏆

There were Pink Stetsons and double denim as far as the eye could see, plenty of sixes flying over the fences and some mighty fine cricket played by an incredible bunch of women and girls. 🤠💪

After a night of buckin’ wickets, mighty swings and plenty of yeehaws, it all came down to a thrilling final between the Cowboy Yorkers and Silverdale Wicket West.

With the light fading fast, the cowgirls certainly didn’t ride off into the sunset! 🌅 The commitment, determination and team spirit stayed firmly in the saddle until the very last ball.

And when the dust finally settled… 🥁🐎

🏆 THE COWBOY YORKERS WERE VICTORIOUS! 🏆

They rode away with the afore mentioned TP Trophy. What a way to finish a fantastic evening of women’s and girls’ cricket!

A huge howdy and hats off to all seven teams who took part. The standard of cricket, the laughter, the competitive spirit and the support between teams made it a night to remember.

Seven teams. One trophy. One heck of a hoedown. 🤠🏏💫

Here’s to the women and girls who keep saddling up, stepping up and smashing it out of the park!
