Squash players of the North West, we are once again sending out the call for more competitive Squash players to join our ranks for our upcoming Winter League season, played on Thursdays, from this September onward.

Our teams are based across divisions 2, 3 and 4 so if you are a competitive player itching for some good games, then give us a shout on our socials!!! 📣📣📣📣

We also offer friendly and casual matches on our club nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with training nights on Tuesdays.

Trophy at Bury!!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

We had a great time at on Thursday, being officially presented with our Trophy for our 2nd teams Summer League division win. 🥇🥇🥇🥇

It was quite the encore as well when Pete managed to net yet ANOTHER win for Hoppers, winning the friendly end of season tournament made up of Summer League players from multiple clubs, netting himself some handy vouchers.

It’s been a great season and everyone in 2nds deserves the trophy, so once again, well done guys, you’ve done all of us at Hoppers proud!!! 👏👏🥳🥳

Its squash kit makeover time!!! 👕👕👕👕

With the new season approaching we thought it would be time for a little player kit makeover, and putting the vote to our members, they chose a cool new red as our new official away kit colour. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

It's finally over. 👏👏👏👏

Our latest Squash summer league season has come to an end and boy what a season it was. 💪😊💪🥳

The Hoppers 2nd Team spent the last few weeks of the competition storming through and won their division in a landslide, a fantastic result for the club. 🥇🥇🥇🥇

The 2nds will be being presented with their trophy🏆🏆🏆🏆 on the 20th August, followed by some friendly end of competition matches between 2 teams made up of players from all 3 Summer League divisions. The top players will win PDH vouchers. Pete and Rob will be representing us, so good luck and get those vouchers!!!

Our 1st team unfortunately didn’t get the win for their division, but they still got the podium finish, taking third place overall.🥉🥉🥉🥉 It’s a great result for us so a big thank you to everyone who played for us this season. 👍👍👍👍

We have been playing exceptionally, seeing improvement from everyone in our ranks, so it is really encouraging to see Hoppers Squash in a very strong place competitively. 💪💪💪💪

Now we are about to begin gearing up for our Winter League season next month, so let’s keep up our strong performances going ahead!

This time from our captains who are voting to select their top player of the year!

While they were spoilt for choice it was our favourite Canadian Kirby Mendes who won our Captains Player of the year Award!!! 🥇🥇🥳🥳

Having come to us from the Great White North, Kirb has been a fixture of our First Team for a long time, having some of the most consistently dominant performances across these past, and multiple other, seasons. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Not only does he contribute competitively but also gives back to the club as a coach for our juniors and other players, imparting a some really good tips and tricks that has helped all our games along. 👍👍👍👍

Thanks for all the hard work you’ve been putting in Kirb and congrats on your award!!!

Our friends at are kicking off the new squash season with a bang, hosting The North Manchester Summer Graded Open!!!

The North Manchester Summer Graded Open is the perfect way to get some quality matches under your belt before the season begins and we would all love to see loads of players from Hoppers and across the North West participating💪🏆

We’ve just finished our most recent internal competition!!! 🎾🎾🎾🎾

We have these internal friendlies every few months and they are always super fun and competitive, as you can see from Stus Raquet!!! ⁉😨😱😭

After multiple, qualifying, quarter and semifinal matches with our club members, the final came down to Pete and Kirby battling it out for the trophy and this time Pete grabbed the win. 🥇🥇🥇🥇

Congrats on your win Pete and a big thank you to everyone who played. The matches we’ve had during this tournament have been fantastic and we can’t wait till the next one!

And after much waiting... we're happy to announce that Rob Clarkson has been voted the Preston Grasshoppers Squash Player of the year!!! 🥳🥳🥇🥇

It was a tough choice for sure, with many players putting in great performances this last year across the seasons, but in the end the vote was unanimous. 👏👏👏👏

Robs been a consistent and brilliant player all season, his huge stamina reserves, technique and commitment to the club have always been second to none!

He is always a crucial part of any team he plays for and has been part of some of the seasons biggest victories so well-done Rob and congratulations!!! 👍👍👍👍

Yes, we did it, our Summer League 2nd Division Team have won their division with a victory over Haslingden!

It was a shakey start to the season, losing 2 of our first 3 games. however, we bounced back, going on a winning 9 game run and remaining unbeaten for the rest of the season!!! 💪💪💪💪

Summer League has a reputation for fielding very high-ranked players so getting to the top and remaining unbeaten is a great feat for Hoppers. 👏👏👏👏

Well done to everyone who played for us this season, you’ve done us all very proud👍👍😊😊.

Now we’re look forward to doing it all again in the upcoming Winter Season!!!

Us northerners are getting even more northern, with a trip to Edinburgh this October. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The Edinburgh Squash Open is being hosted at and will be open to players of all levels, so everyone is welcome.

Afterward we will be channelling that Oktoberfest energy, with plenty of food, drink and more after the games. 🍺🍺🍺🍺

We go for the Squash and stay for the fun! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

It’s a £50 entry and includes a free T-shirt and dinner on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October, and if your team signs up before the end of July you will get 2 extra drinks vouchers per person!!! 👍👍👍👍
