Our final tournament of the summer!! A mixed group stage performance, but overall you can really see how the lads are starting to come together and move to the next stage as a team, linking up well with just more consistency needed to really maintain that level. This lead us to the Europa Cup. The boys rarely disappoint when it comes to the knockout stages and today that was the case. A solid semi-final win — the boys were fantastic throughout the match, kept the ball moving really well and looked confident as a team, helping us to progress to the final.

The final was more of the same against a tough opposition, but the lads went toe to toe, matching them all over the pitch without giving many chances away. Unfortunately we didn’t take our chances and a penalty shootout was how the game was decided.

Yet again it wasn’t our day!💔

The boys have been fantastic all tournament season and now we turn our attention to the league games 🔵⚪️

🗻Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge ✅

Huge congratulations to our U10’s Prestatyn Athletic coaches for completing the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge this past Friday! ⛰️🏃‍♂️

They pushed through and crushed the challenge in an amazing time of 15 hours and 25 minutes to raise vital funds for the team!

📍 Prestatyn Athletic Tournament

A brilliant Sunday of football where the boys were eager to perform at our home tournament.

Group Stages: We saw fantastic team spirit right from the first start with a strong group to navigate. The boys put in a stellar shift through the group stages, finishing in 3rd place after suffering just a single defeat.

Europa Semi-Final: This set us up for a semi-final against more strong opposition, and what followed was easily our performance of the day. The lads didn't change a thing from the group games but they showed an incredible, relentless work rate all match to earn the win and book their spot in the final!

The Final: The final was another tough game. Despite the boys giving everything to maintain their levels and push for a winner, we just couldn't quite find that breakthrough goal. With the score locked, it came down to a penalty shootout. Unfortunately, the luck you so often need in penalties just wasn’t with us today, resulting in a narrow defeat.

While it wasn't the fairytale finish on home turf, the final result cannot take away from what was a fantastic performance all day from these boys. They showed incredible heart, resilience, and played some brilliant football.

After a couple of weeks well deserved break the boys looked raring to go today with fantastic form throughout the group stages, playing some great football and winning every single game. They finished top of the group with confidence, firing themselves into the Champions League Semi-Final.

They approached the semi-final with that same winning momentum, delivering another confident performance to secure their place in the final!

The final was always going to be a tough game and despite the boys battling it just wasn't to be today. As is the way in tournament football, sometimes the results doesn't go your way but the quality on display throughout the day was brilliant to watch.

The lads should be very proud of their performance. We go again! 💪🔵⚪️

Today, the boys put in a complete performance. With a break coming up, we challenged the boys to go out, finish on a high, and show exactly how far they have come—and they did it in style!

Group Stages: We started with a hard-fought 1-0 win, working hard without getting going properly. Once they hit their stride, the boys were unstoppable, playing some good football but paired with a rock-solid defensive display. We followed up with a 2-0 win, a 0-0 draw, a 2-0 win, and a 1-0 win. An unbeaten group stage with zero goals ⛔️conceded, topping the table and sending us straight through to the Champions League Final! ⚽️

The Final: It was a tense game. The boys looked a little nervous, but the fight and desire were there the entire match. That perseverance eventually paid off with a late winner to edge the game 1-0! 🎯

A massive well done to every single one of them for showing such character to bring the trophy home. What a way to head into the break! 👏🔵⚪️

🔵⚪️ Presentation Evening 🔵⚪️

What an incredible way to wrap up the season! This year has seen yet another massive leap in improvement from this group. Year on year, they continue to impress us with their drive and determination, and this season was no different. We’ve seen the lads truly start to compete with the top teams, securing some fantastic victories along the way, having only being beaten by three teams all season. They increased their goal tally by a huge margin ⚽️, and conceded far fewer goals ⛔️. A testament to the hard work put in by every single one of them!💪

📈 Most Improved - Louie Parry

Louie joined us at the start of the season and settled straight into the team. He has had a year of change adapting to new positions and he has taken it in his stride. Notably into trying a new role in defence which has seen him stay calm on the ball and help start our attacks with his passing range. This new role has played a big part in our success this season 💪

💪 Most Committed - Alfie Jones

Alfie continues to show his determination and commitment to the team week in week out. Giving 110% whenever he steps out on the pitch he works hard to help the team succeed in all he does. Both in effort covering every blade of grass, but also in creativity, finishing as joint top assists for the season 🎯 Making a great contribution to this season success 💪

🗳️ Parents Player - Oliver Latham

Ollie was voted this year’s Parents Player and it’s easy to see why. Ollie’s performances in goal this season have been fantastic. Often at the sacrifice of playing outfield Ollie always steps up for the team when they need him. No more so than in tournament season where more penalty heroics have played a big part in our 2 🏆 Champions League wins this summer 💪

👔 Managers Player - Carter Roberts

This seasons Managers Player goes to Carter Roberts for his consistent high level performances all season. This high level has played a big part in this seasons success. Not only finishing top goalscorer ⚽️ and joint top assists 🎯 but his work rate off the ball is equally impressive and contributes so much to the team 💪

📍 Colwyn Bay Tournament

A fantastic tournament at Colwyn Bay this weekend, facing high-quality opposition with two trophies up for grabs.

We absolutely flew out of the blocks yet again! Our first three games saw us play some of the best football we’ve seen all season with some brilliant passing and clinical finishing against some very strong teams.

As we hit the tougher stages of the group, standards became harder to maintain, resulting in two losses and a draw in our next three. We were already guaranteed a spot in the Champions League knockouts, but to finish as high as possible in the group table, we challenged the boys to produce a big goal difference swing—and wow, did they deliver, recording the biggest win of the day! 📈

Through to the Champions League Quarter-Final. Unfortunately, we started a little too slowly and gave ourselves a mountain to climb, going two goals down early on. Once the boys switched on, we were on top for the remainder of the match and pulled one back, but we just ran out of time, as is the way in tournament football. ⏱️

The boys left feeling like they could have gone further, but we go again! 💪

They showed real quality in flashes today, and if we can find that consistency, we know we will be right up there competing for it all. 🏆

Europa League Semi-Final

📍 Llandudno Junction

A tough test for the boys today as we travelled to Llandudno Junction to face some high-quality teams.

Where we tend to start a little slowly in tournaments, today was the complete opposite. The lads came flying out of the blocks in the opening game against a top side, playing some brilliant football to go 2-0 up, and were ultimately very unlucky to finish with a 2-2 draw. We carried that momentum into the next two matches with two more strong performances, picking up a hard-fought 1-1 draw and a well-deserved 2-1 win.

As the group stages wrapped up, we saw a drop-off in our performance levels. We drew 0-0 and were rather fortunate to get a 1-0 win to finish the group stage. The early hard work ensured we finished 3rd in the group and progressed into the Europa League Semi-Final.

Unfortunately, we couldn't quite rediscover those early performances. In a game the boys should have won in normal time, it ended in a draw and went to another penalty shootout.

It wasn’t meant to be, ending in a narrow 10-9 defeat.

While it wasn't our day to lift the trophy this time after our recent tournament wins, there are massive positives to take away. It is now 19 tournament games in a row unbeaten in normal time! An unbelievable achievement that shows just how tough this team is to beat.
