o35tour Quinta Do Lago Championship 2026 - 4 nights - 4 rounds - QDL North, QDL South, Laranjal & QDL South again.

This is a World Amateur Golf Ranking Event.

Mid -Amateur (over 35) and Seniors (over 50)
Max Handicap 18
A shared buggy and range balls is included for each round.

Entry fee of £1,360 pp, which includes a 2 bedroom suite at the Wyndham Grand Hotel and Spa with breakfast included 4 nights (17, 18, 19, 20 Jan). Additional night £120 pp. Each suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge area.

This will be one of the last tournements of your golfing season before the weather starts playing up!

Come and play The Scottish Mid-Amateur Championship at Fairmont Torrance course. You don't have to be a member of the tour or The Fairmont Golf Club.

We tee off on Tuesday, 29th and Wednesday, 30th September, which is the two days before the Dunhill Links begins. It is a great opportunity to play a world-class track in championship condition and then stick around to watch the pros in action.

Congratulations to Adam Fisher who won the Caversham 36 hole Mid-Amateur and Senior Championship with an impressive -1 +6 - Total 149 in tough hard and fast fairways and fast undulating greens.

The course was very well received as a great design in fantastic condition.

Aberdovey Golf Club: The Wrap Up 🏆
What a few days at the wonderful Aberdovey Golf Club. The 54-hole WAGR event was played uner difficult windy and rainy conditions. The course was in superb condition.
The final round came right down to the wire. Peter Finch shot a new course record 68 to finish just two shots back.
That was not quite enough to catch the solid Nick Mills, who put together a superb total of 221 to become the 2026 Welsh Mid Amateur Champion. Congratulations Nick!

Sherwood Forest: The Wrap Up 🏆

A 54-hole WAGR event always brings serious drama, and Sherwood Forest absolutely delivered. The course was in immaculate condition and the weather played ball for a brilliant few days of golf.

The final round came right down to the wire. Michael Burrow put on a spectacular charging finish, closing out his round Eagle, Birdie, Birdie for an incredible 69. But it was not quite enough to catch the local knowledge of lifelong member of Sherwood Forest, Dean Redington, who put together superb rounds of 75, 70, and 71 for a 216 total to become our 2026 British Mid Amateur Champion. Congratulations Dean!
