Lizzie Meeks School Of Dance LMSD Our ethos is to inspire a love of dance, stimulate a pupil's imagination, encourage self expression and build confidence in a warm, nurturing environment.

At LMSD we offer dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Street, Contemporary Jazz, Acro and Musical Theatre. All classes are taught by professional, fully qualified, experienced teachers and are disciplined, well structured and enjoyable. Our ethos is to inspire a love of dance, whilst stimulating a pupil's imagination, encouraging self expression and building confidence in a warm, nurturing environment. LMSD pupils have the opportunity to take part in shows, displays, competitions, workshops and ISTD examinations and are actively encouraged to experience as many genres as possible. Our pupils, boys and girls, range from 3 years to adults. Whether LMSD pupils simply wish to discover the sheer joy of dancing or go on to pursue a dance career, every pupil is important to us, be they beginner, improver, advanced or professional dancer.

A huge well done to all of our amazing dancers who auditioned today for ‘s Jack & the Beanstalk at this Christmas!
We are very proud of you for taking part and giving it your all!

A massive congratulations to Ellie, Phoebe & Kayla, who have successfully secured places in the Young Company!

With 150 dancers auditioning and just 16 places available, this is such a fantastic achievement!

DANCING INTO A NEW CHAPTER ✨
As we prepare for a brand new term, we’re celebrating our wonderful seniors as they graduate and begin their next adventures.

A special mention to Estelle, who has danced with us for 15+ years and has been a much loved pupil and fantastic teaching assistant. We’re so proud of the dancer, teacher and young woman she has become.

To Estelle and all our amazing seniors, we’ll miss you! We hope you take your love of dance, along with all the skills, confidence and memories you’ve gained into your next chapter 🥹

IT’S OFFICIAL! ⛄️🎄❄️
We’ve been keeping a very special Christmas secret!
Our Incredible Jake will be taking on the magical role of The Boy in the world premiere production of The Snowman, performing in Birmingham and London’s West End!

Another fantastic credit to add to his growing list.

Jake and the other young performers recently visited Penguin Random House and shared their excitement about being part of this iconic Christmas story.
