Viva Gymnastics Club

Why do we do what we do ? Money ? There isn't any in running a club. Glory ? It's not ours to own , it belongs to our gymnasts. We do what we do because we fundamentally believe that we can change children's lives for the better. That our club, our coaches, are ethos is one that will have a positive impact on children and their families. We are not arrogant enough to believe we have all the answers but we believe in ourselves and we believe in our ability to foster and environment and a culture of kindness , empathy understand understanding and support. Running a Gymnastics club is hard. Our team teamwork incredibly hard and on days where the workload feels impossible posts like this make us realise how lucky and privileged we are to do what we do. During our half term camps , after discussions with our families. We decided that during our camps dedicated to our children with special educational needs and their families that we would be sending everyone home with a dinner bag. These bags (hopefully) meant a little less stress that evening and something yummy and healthy for everyone! We know food can be tricky and we knew that maybe some of our kiddos might not eat the food provided but we were thrilled to see this little chef taking an interest in the food!
