I'm afraid that Dave is suffering from laryngitis so will be unable to perform this afternoon therefore the entertainment is cancelled.

There will still be football on the screens this afternoon with Chelsea vs Brighton at 2pm and Man Utd vs Ipswich at 4:30. And of course the meat raffle will be drawn between 4 and 4:30.

Can you help V2 Radio?

V2 Radio station based in Chichester, is looking for a volunteer team of young, enthusiastic, and friendly volunteers to represent V2 Radio at the events it covers throughout the year. This would involve handing out V2 Radio merchandise and bringing a positive energy.

These are unpaid, voluntary roles, providing young people with experience (great for those particularly looking to break into the radio/media industry). The pool of volunteers will be contacted with a list of events coming up to reply with those that they are available for. V2 Radio covers Hampshire and Sussex, so events are across these regions. Please note, travel will need to be arranged by the volunteer.

The volunteers must be aged 16 years and over.

Event: Music at Murrels Field
Location: Murrells Field, Barnham.
Required hours: 5pm-8pm. Volunteers are welcome to stay past this time to enjoy the event.

Afternoon all,

Firstly, thanks to all that turned up to our mystery DJ on Friday aka Justin, great afternoon and some money raised for a good cause, Justin will update us once all monies have been sent to Meningitis UK, he will be back.

Goodwood tickets will go on sale this Friday 24th April, tickets this year will be £48 for members and guests, this includes coach to and from Goodwood, entry tickets, and Sonia’s deluxe buffet/drinks on arrival. Goodwood takes place on Friday 31st July and the coach will leave the club at 10:30am. These tend to sell out quick, so get in to get your tickets from Friday.

This Saturday sees the return of Chamonix, we ask all that have tickets to arrive at the club at 7pm and seated at your designated seats by 7:20pm ready to kick off at 7:30pm. Your ticket includes a two course meal and there will be a boozy raffle so remember to bring some cash to buy those tickets. If you cannot make it, please let us know as we may be able to move on your ticket.

The next bingo will be on Monday 27th April, as usual its eyes down for 8.00pm with doors at 7.00pm.
The current snowball is £100 for the next game if won in 55 numbers or less.
Members and guests are most welcome. Then May Bingo - Monday 4th May and 18th May.

Whilst Adam is away having a well earned rest I thought I would update you with what is happening over the Easter Weekend.

We will be opening slightly early on Friday, at 2:30, in order to show the Pompey game away at Norwich.

There are still tickets available for Archie Mac on Saturday evening. These are only £5 each and it should be a great night.

Sunday sees the Kid's Easter party from 2pm to 4pm which will be followed by the return of Phil 'The Tonsils' Dunk at 7pm for Karaoke.

Bit of a long update so apologies, lots coming up I want to try squeeze in!

First off, well done to Paul Barnden for winning the Eddie Marsten snooker cup on Saturday, great turn out again. Thanks to Jack Dent for sorting, look forward to the next one (hopefully I won’t go out first round……..again!).

Thanks to all that came on Mother’s Day last Sunday, great day had by all and massive thanks to all that made it possible by preparing and serving all the food.

We have some new functions coming up from May, all tickets/names in book will be available from Saturday 21st March.

This Sunday we will be showing the Carabao Cup final KO @ 4:30pm with Arsenal vs Man City.
