A gentle word to the parents watching RAW Kids Gymnastics from the side.....

We see you looking at the mats. We see you thinking about it. You're remembering being nine, and you're thinking that a cartwheel is probably still in there somewhere.

Sadly this class is not for you, but all of our RAW Kids classes are held in fitness spaces and the owners would LOVE to help you get your fitness journey started!

But leave the gymnastics to the small ones.

Things that have become gymnastics apparatus in your house since your child started at RAW:

The sofa. The arm of the sofa. The back of the sofa. The stairs, obviously. That one bit of hallway with the good carpet. The dog. You. Specifically, your outstretched arms, at 7am, before coffee... We know! raising a gymnast is fun!

Small classes mean a hard limit on numbers, and the teatime and Saturday morning slots almost always fill first.

Classes run from the day your child starts walking to age 8:
Wrigglers (walking–3.5) · Rollers (3.5–4.5) · Foundation (4.5–8)

Every child starts at Level 1 of our RAW Rewards programme and moves up at their own pace — no leaderboards, no competitions, nobody being compared to anyone else. Over 3,000 children have come through it so far.

The question we get asked more than any other: which class should my child in?

Here's the whole thing in thirty seconds.

RAW WRIGGLERS: from the day they start walking to 3.5 years. You're in the room with them. Action songs, parachute play, sensory fun.

RAW ROLLERS: 3.5 to 4.5 years. Their first solo class, no parents in the room. They build at their own pace, and it's usually the class where you notice the confidence shift.

RAW FOUNDATION: 4.5 to 8 years. Proper gymnastics fundamentals: circuits, strength, balance, coordination, flexibility. Structured, coached, and still fun.

September classes are filling at RAW Kids Gymnastics

Not a sales line; just how it works when you cap class sizes. Every RAW class is deliberately small so no child is queueing for equipment or getting lost at the back, and that means there are only so many places per session.

If you've been thinking about it for a while, this is the fortnight to sort it. Autumn term spaces are going now, and the popular slots (weekday teatime, Saturday morning) always go first.
