Such was Harry Colt's genius, he managed to create two short holes on such interesting land that bunkers need not exist.
One at Calamity Corner, and the other here at the 6th, named Harry Colt's.

Despite only being a couple of years old, the new holes on the Valley look like they've always been there.
Looking out over the 18th green towards the 16th, it's easy to see why the work has catapulted the course into the GB&I Top 100.

The 7th epitomises the Valley's minimalistic use of bunkering.
