Rumours are circulating that LIV is heading for the scrap heap, and players like Tyrrell Hatton arw expected to leave LIV Golf after the 2026 season and play a full season on the DP World Tour in 2027.

It’s appears that Hatton retained his DP World Tour membership by agreement and paying large fines.

Would be great to see him back, however, I think there is a legitimate fairness argument here.

For example, a journeyman professional might spend a year on the Challenge Tour or fight through Q-School for a handful of starts, while a wealthy LIV player can pay substantial fines and retain/recover access because he already possesses membership and exemption rights.

Seems harsh on players struggling and working hard to get their card when a LIV player can just leapfrog them and jump back in at their own convenience.

What’s your thoughts on what should happen to returning LIV players?
