Our first new addition to the coaching staff was Glen, let’s hear what he has to say after his first season with a Ladies team 🗣️🎙️

Wee bit of a reflection on the season now that it's all done, looking back on results we had a poor start to the season with 2 wins out of 6, which meant the coaching staff had to quickly adjust player's to find a comfort zone which worked for the team and i think we got our just rewards with a strong finish to the league campaign with 5 wins from 8, bearing in mind we are probably one of the younger teams in the league. I don't think we done too bad especially pushing the champions right to the last 10 mins.

As for next season the main thing for me is keeping this great bunch of girls together maybe adding 1 or 2 and pushing on, no matter what league we will compete in we will have the mindset of fear no one and compete for everything, Looking forward to next season with these rockets!!

U19 girls training starts this coming Wednesday at Portadown Peoples Park. 8:00pm to 9:00pm.

We would be keen to add players to this current squad who will be competing in the Lisburn League.

The second of our coaching staff to reflect on the season is Mark, let’s hear what he has to say 🗣️🎙️

I myself was very excited for the start of the season. First match seen us scoring in the first few minutes and was a great highlight for starting the season off, it just wasn’t meant to be. It took us a few matches to get going and start playing as a team but you could see improvements as the weeks went by. Most matches the football was there but luck just wasn’t on our side. It’s fantastic to see the young ones now playing at senior level that I have coached from u15. Having this pathway shows their confidence and progression on the pitch and gives Gary, myself and the other coaches a great sense of pride being able to provide this for them. As a team you can see the bond growing and becoming stronger and I hold great hope that this will continue into next season allowing us to start off the new season with this bond already developed. I understand it’s hard at times to get motivated after a day of school/work, and if the weather isn’t so pleasant it’s even harder, but once we get out together it’s all factors that are quickly forgotten and we always enjoy the training leaving feeling better for it both mentally and physically. Let’s bring all this into next season whatever league we end up in we’re all in it together no matter what!

The Ladies Manager Gary had a few things to say about the 2026 season… 🗣️🎙️

“With the season now ended it is time to reflect and review. We have assembled our very young talented side blended with a few senior players giving us a great balance. The aim of the season was to simply get this young team bonding together and finish as high as we could as we are looking at the long term plan with the group and with 5/6 girls playing in there 1st season in senior ladies football it was going to take time, patience and confidence for them to adapt and understand the game and gel with the others. The 1st few games we weren’t getting the results we wanted or deserved but we stuck at it and kept working hard. The 2nd half of the season was when things started to click with a very strong finish in performances and results as the girls started to grow in confidence and understand their teammates play and positions so overall a positives season and with this group of girls we are in a stronger position going forward for next season. Next seasons aim will be to push closer to the top 2 and i have every faith confidence and belief in this exciting squad that we will do exactly that.💙⚽️

Finishing the season with a 7-0 win and a mcdonald’s after 🥳 Goal scorers tonight where Sacha McD (x2), Alex T (x2), Adrianna, Zoe and Sasha T 💪🏻

Well done to Amy who got player of the match for the final game, week in week out she’s shown dedication, passion and supports everyone right to the final whistle and tonight it’s all paid off with 2 assists and a POTM. 💪🏻

And finally, a speedy recovery for Molly who got injured during our Ballynagross game a couple of weeks ago. She has a suspected ACL injury and tore cartilage which is further waiting review to see if she will need surgery. We hope you get better soon and we are all here for you in this journey ahead. 💙

💔 A message from Annagh United Youth Academy

Some of you may have heard the devastating news that the Wade family's home has been destroyed by fire. This is a shocking thing for any family to go through - not just the loss of a property, but all the precious memories inside it.

The Wades are more than just a footballing family to us. Three of the boys play for our academy, and two of the family help out with coaching. They're not only super footballers, but a brilliant family who could not do more for other people - and now it's our turn to be there for them.

Football becomes insignificant at times like this, but as a club we are with this family every step of the way. The most immediate need is accommodation for 2 adults and 7 children - if you know of anywhere to rent, or anyone who could help, please message this page and we'll pass it on.

The Ladies kept the unbeaten league leaders, Donegal Celtic to a 1-1 draw right up till the 80th minute. Wee Evie, finally got a goal for her endless hard work week in, week out and topped it off with POTM as well given by the referee.

Well done to who won the league and all the best in division 4 next season 🙌🏻💪🏻
