Well fingers crossed we will get some positive results this evening for the future of Gwynfi A.B.C if this is the case we will arrange another open meeting for those who expressed their interest in helping out

We are extremely grateful for those who have arranged to met this evening to see if they can help in any way as we know running one Gym is very challenging let alone trying to help and support the future of another Gym

And also a big Thank you to Simon Mathews for always willing to offer any help he can on top of running Gwynfi Miners Hall

We will keep you all updated

This is actually mind blowing!
We were lucky to have Jayden Price box on Gwynfi ABC’s home show in the Hall Glyncorrwg not that long ago!
This is a list of the top 20 best amateur boxing records of ALL TIME!
I believe 19 out of the 20 names and records listed were at the time they ended their amateur careers as elite senior (adult) boxers!

REMEMBER JAYDEN IS STILL ONLY 15 YEARS OLD AND RANKED 18th!

Currently 1 position ahead of Jayden ranked 17th is Muhammad Ali 🤯

1 place below Jayden ranked 19th is Floyd Mayweather

2 places below Jayden ranked 20th is Manny Pacquiao

This is actually incredible.

Jayden Price has only just turned 15 years old, and already his amateur record of 94 wins from 99 fights puts him alongside some of the biggest names amateur boxing has ever seen.

Just take a moment to look at some of the names on that list. Fighters like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Muhammad Ali, Marco Antonio Barrera, Roy Jones Jr., Pernell Whitaker, Oscar De La Hoya and many more. These are boxing legends, yet Jayden’s current amateur record already stands alongside them.

What’s even more remarkable is that most of those fighters completed their entire amateur careers before posting those numbers. Jayden has only just turned 15 and still has several years left in the amateur ranks if he chooses to stay there.

Then there are the achievements. A two-time Asian Champion, four-time England Champion, and USA National Open Champion. As far as I’m aware, Jayden is the first boxer of his age to win major amateur tournaments across three different continents — Europe, Asia and America. That’s a remarkable achievement on its own.

Another incredible milestone came when Jayden was just 13 years old. He was selected by Sheikh Khalid and signed to represent Bahrain internationally, giving him the opportunity to compete on the world stage against some of the best young boxers on the planet. For a 13-year-old boxer to be given that level of opportunity and trust is an achievement very few young athletes will ever experience.

The record is impressive, but it’s not just the record. It’s the way he does it. His boxing IQ, ability to adapt, ring awareness, footwork and understanding of the sport are all well beyond his years. He has the ability to make adjustments, solve problems and find ways to win against different styles, different opponents and often against older, more experienced boxers. Even when things don’t go his way, when decisions are questionable or when obstacles are put in front of him, officials and referees plotting against him, he finds a way to stay composed, adapt and get the job done.

Fair play, Jayden Price. You are one very talented young man. The hard work, dedication and sacrifices are paying off. None of this has happened by accident. It’s the result of years of commitment, discipline and an obsession with improving every single day.

And the scary thing?
He’s only just getting started 💯🥊

And for those who try to criticise Jayden, his dad, his coaches, or the decisions that have been made along the way, don't let hate consume you.

Jayden’s dad and coaches have made the right decisions for him, and that should be obvious to anyone with half a brain. The results speak for themselves 💯👊🏻

Fair play Jayden your an absolute legend 💯🏆
