The sun was shining but the wind also decided to make an appearance again! However, we saw some fantastic times and plenty of personal bests along the way!

Goal - run a 5k under 30 minutes for the very first time

When - by the third and final race in September

01/06/2026 - race 1/3
Thanks to the extremely supportive and encouraging 30 minute pacer I was able to achieve my goal in the first race 🥳

Although I am elated, the pressure is on for the final two races to be able to keep my pace up and to beat my time 😅

Izzy (pacer) helped me achieve my goal and has made me realise that my body is capable of so much more, I just have to believe in myself.

Honestly I can't thank you all enough. You were all super encouraging and friendly and made me feel welcome depsite not being part of a running club 👍🏼I can't wait for race 2!

Note to others - if you want to achieve your goals, remember that no one can do the work for you, only you can make it happen 🩷
