We don’t always shout loudly enough about what happens behind the doors of AK Academy of Dancing… but sometimes you have to stop, take stock and celebrate what your students have achieved 💛

Following the completion of the 2026 qualifying season, we are incredibly proud to have achieved:

✨ 3 Qualifying Teams

What makes us particularly proud is that so many of these dancers are home grown. They have walked through our doors as little ones, learnt their foundations with us, trained week after week and progressed through the competitive ranks to earn their place at Nationals.

These results aren’t achieved overnight. They come from consistent training, strong foundations, dedicated teachers, supportive families and, most importantly, incredibly hardworking dancers.

Since 1992, AK has been committed to giving dancers opportunities to learn, progress, compete and achieve at the highest level - while remaining part of the AK family.

Last night we had the pleasure of sharing a meal on the beach front, with some of our wonderful senior students, alongside Principals Miss Andrea, Miss Kim and Miss Anna, as we celebrated and said goodbye to three very special girls – Ella, Ellie and Emily. ❤️

Each of them has been part of the AK family since they were tiny, and we’ve had the privilege of watching them grow into the incredible young women they are today. Whilst it’s never easy saying goodbye, we are so proud of everything they have achieved and know they have exciting futures ahead.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the dedication and for being such a special part of the AK family. You will always have a place in our hearts, and our doors will always be open to you.
