This August, Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby heads to São Paulo, Brazil, for the 2026 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships, where the world's best teams will battle it out for global glory. Great Britain will face Denmark, Colombia, Germany, Japan and France in the group stages.

Five group games. One goal.
From the first whistle to Finals Day, every hit, every turnover and every try will matter.

Following the group stage, the top four teams from each pool will progress to the quarter-finals on 21 August. Semi-finals take place on 22 August before the World Championship medals are decided on Finals Day, Sunday 23 August. Teams not progressing to the quarter-finals will compete in classification matches.
