Well what a year, I enjoy every single class that I teach here at Time to Dance. It’s an absolute delight to see the friendships blossoming and the ladies making so much progress.
So many accomplishments, too many to mention but here’s a few!
We’ve been dancing in the streets at the carnivals for 10 years and enjoyed our Time to Tap events for the past 4 years.
The yoga, pilates and well being classes have filled up nicely and I now hold 3 per week.
My creative dance class are just smashing creating their own choreography and happy to dance creatively to a given piece of music.
Beginners tap no more! They are intermediates now and have mastered the timesteps 🥳.
Then there are my beautiful ballerinas which have had so much fun with the tarantella! That got out fitness levels up!!
Well done and thank you to you all for supporting my classes this last year.
Get those song choices in ladies! Here’s to a new term in September with more exciting musicals and themes to accomplish.

What a finish for my musical theatre class yesterday, placing 2nd in the Wareham Carnival. So many entries, amazing floats and costumes.
Well done ladies, you did brilliantly!
Thank you to each and everyone of you for being brave and trying a new angle this year, slow and controlled moves alongside the faster spring ball changes! You were all fab.
I’m already looking at song choices for September!
Thank you as always to all the committee members and volunteers that work so hard behind the scenes to make it all happen.
As always, we had a great day.
Well done Time to Dance 💃🏼

Another fun day at Corfe Mullen Carnival. The sun shone for us all and we danced our socks off. Wonderful to have won 1st place again today. A huge team effort to make it all happen as always. Thank you to my awesome hubby and boys for their continued support behind the scenes. To Chris for driving us at the last minute. Juliet Taylor for her creative ideas with the choreography and float and her amazing artwork as always. Thanks to the Caddy’s for their support today.
Thank you to all the carnival committee, Marshalls and volunteers for a whole year of preparations to make it all happen.
Finally to my musical theatre class. Every Tuesday we work so hard to get our performances ready…. I promise September will be a chilled term 😂😂….. maybe 😜

Well after half a term learning our carnival routines inside the hall, we finally got to practice outside on the field…. Not a bad attempt for our first time…. A little confusing when turning the corners but we will be ready to dance our socks off for Corfe Mullen Carnival and then Wareham.
Lots of giggles and whooping!
Well done ladies and thank you for another enjoyable evening of dance 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼

What did last term look like here at Time to Dance.
Adult ballet classes… we danced to a wide range of ballets, Giselle, Swan Lake working on our centre practice and perfecting our pirouettes.
Musical theatre… we teamed up with the wonderful Just Sing choir and collaborated ‘For Good’ from Wicked as well as working on our stamina ready for the upcoming carnivals, dancing to Billy Elliots ‘Born to Boogie’
Tap class - we are determined to master our time steps! Some working on single, other on double and triples whilst advanced ladies enjoying open, pick up and wing timesteps!
Creative dance class - wow, everyone managed to choreograph their own dance to their own chosen piece of music. The progress made is amazing.
Yoga/Pilates and Well being…
We are getting stronger and stronger and our confidence to attempt new and more complex poses is growing.
Here’s to a new term with more exciting ideas and performances. Looking forward to the tapathon for Roy Castles Time To Tap 2026.
