HEARTBREAK IN A REGIONAL FINAL THRILLER ⚽💔
Our 50s put in an incredible, high-octane performance at Hamworthy earlier this month, falling just short by the narrowest of margins to Clevedon & District in the WFA National Cup Regional Final.

After taking an early lead, the lads showed immense tactical structure and grit throughout a pulsating, fast-paced encounter. A dramatic second half saw the game turn on its head, and despite a furious late push for an equalizer, it just wasn't to be. ⚽🔥

We couldn't be prouder of the determination, team spirit, and fight shown by the squad throughout this whole cup run. Heads held high, gents! 👏💙❤

Hard luck to our Over 50s squad, who bowed out of the WFA Cup today after a heroic 2–1 defeat to Clevedon & District in the South West North Regional Final at Hamworthy. ⚽

​Jase put Dexters ahead early with a sharp finish, but a deflected strike and a set-piece goal flipped the game in the second half.

The lads threw everything forward late on, shifting to one at the back and testing the Clevedon keeper with a relentless barrage from Gary, Luke, and Jase - only for their stopper to produce a string of unbelievable saves.

​A massive effort from every single player involved today. Proud of the run, the performance, and the fight shown right to the 40th minute! 🔴⚫

🏆 Our 60s squad recently took part in the Dorset qualifying round of the FA Walking Football Cup.

👨🏼‍💼 It was a significant milestone for the team, marking Tom Deady’s first competitive matches in charge of the squad. The afternoon featured tight fixtures against Wimborne and Dorchester, giving the players a solid foundation to build on for the rest of the season.

New Management Structure Announced for Dexters 50s Squad | DSWFC Dexters Storm and Dexters Thunder move to a dual-manager setup. Andy Madden leads Storm, while Terry Benson takes over Thunder.

Our annual Presentation Evening at Hamworthy's County Ground brought the curtain down on a fantastic season. We honoured everything from goalkeeping heroics and historic goal-scoring feats to the incredible off-field dedication that powers DSWFC.

Comeback Kings! DSWFC Fight Back to Claim Dramatic Win | DSWFC DSWFC50s showed incredible resilience to overturn a two-goal deficit and secure a thrilling victory against Amesbury in the Third Round of the WFA National Cup.

​⚽️ WHAT A COMEBACK! DSWFC WIN ON PENALTIES! ⚽️

​Talk about character! The lads overturned a 2-0 deficit to claim a dramatic shootout victory against Amesbury today.

📉 A tough first half saw us fall 0-2 behind to a clinical Amesbury side, though a big miss from them kept us in touching distance at the break.

📈 The Second Half Fightback
Luke got us right back into the game, pouncing on a keeper mistake to make it 1-2.

🧤 Billy pulled off a massive save from a free kick to keep the deficit at one, before Gary stepped up to smash home a penalty after encroachment into the area! 2-2!

💥 It was a frantic finish — Amesbury missed a one-on-one and Chris Short brushed the post for us, but we couldn't be separated at full time.
