Exciting evenings continue at the College as we host live music every Friday night throughout August! 🎶

Max is a versatile vocalist performing such shows from swing, the 70s, 80s and onwards. Max has performed as a singing waiter and a singing photographer and has many years of experience as a cabaret performer.

Welcome to all of our volunteers joining us at the RNLI College this week! 👋
Even during the holiday season, our dedicated volunteer crews continue to make time to train, develop their skills, and prepare for when they're needed most.
This week, participants from Aberdeen Lifeboat RNLI, Baltimore RNLI, Cowes RNLI Lifeboat, RNLI, Galway Lifeboat Station, Horton and Port Eynon RNLII, St Bees RNLI, RNLI Walton & Frinton Lifeboat, Ballycotton RNLI, RNLI Bundoran Lifeboat Station, Dart RNLI Lifeboat, RNLI Harwich Lifeboat Station, RNLI Seahouses Lifeboat Station, RNLI Stonehaven and RNLI Withernsea are taking part in Seamanship and ALB (All-Weather Lifeboat) Asset Maintenance courses.

Today we’re marking International Lifeguard Appreciation Day and celebrating 25 years of RNLI lifeguards keeping our beaches safer.
Our amazing RNLI lifeguards play a vital role on our beaches every day, helping to prevent incidents before they happen and stepping in when people need help.
Since 2001, RNLI lifeguards have:
💛 Saved 2,165 lives
💛 Aided more than 459,000 people
💛 Responded to over 333,000 incidents
💛 Carried out more than 48 million preventative actions
Today we say a huge thank you to all RNLI lifeguards, past and present, for their professionalism, dedication and commitment to saving lives at sea.
If you're heading to the coast this summer, choose a lifeguarded beach whenever possible and always swim between the red and yellow flags.
