Kayleigh Qualifies Top for PING Tour Grand Finals ⛳

⛳ Huge congratulations to club member Kayleigh Groves on qualifying in top spot for the U21 Girls PING Tour Grand Finals at Thonock Park Golf Club on 12 September! 👏

Kayleigh has enjoyed a fantastic season on the Junior PING Tour, competing in the U21 Girls category. The tour includes 27 events, with each player’s best five results counting towards the rankings and qualification for the Grand Finals. 🌟

After playing six events, Kayleigh topped the Nett rankings with five wins and a second-place finish, while also finishing joint third in the Gross category. This is an outstanding achievement against a very strong field, including single-figure county and England squad players. 🏌️‍♀️

One of Kayleigh’s standout performances came at Essendon Golf Club in August, where she finished first in the Nett with an excellent score of -6 and second in the Gross on +10. 🔥

Everyone at the club wishes Kayleigh the very best of luck for the Grand Finals. A brilliant season so far and a fantastic achievement — well done, Kayleigh! 🙌🏆

For August, we are delighted to award it to Abi Fletcher from the Food & Beverage Team. Over the last few months Abi has developed and gone from strength to strength. During busy times, she has always kept a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Her customer service and engagement skills have really shone through. Abi has picked up all the tasks and skills very quickly, meaning she is a trusted member of the team who can always be relied upon.

Abi will soon be heading off to university, and we wish her the very best. Hopefully, she will be back working at the Club during university breaks! 🤞
