Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome back 22-year-old Jack Ingram to the Senior Team.

Jack returns to the club this season following a short stint away, and we’re delighted to see him back in a Llantwit shirt.

Another product of our Mini & Junior section, Jack excelled throughout his youth rugby and has already gained valuable experience playing at senior level.

A ho**er, Jack represented Pontypridd Schools U16 District and also played his rugby at Bryn Celynnog School.

Jack has huge potential as a front-row player and has really impressed the coaching team throughout pre-season with his skill set, physicality and attitude.

At just 22, we believe there is plenty more to come from Jack, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development and make an impact within the Senior Team.

It’s great to have another one of our own back at the club.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Rhys Dickson to the Senior Team.

A local player from Llantwit Fardre and a former pupil of Bryn Celynnog School, Rhys is another exciting product of our youth pathway.

A talented scrum half, Rhys has impressed the coaching staff throughout pre-season with his skills, fitness and attitude. His performances have shown plenty of promise, and we’re looking forward to seeing him make the step up and develop into a senior player this year.

Rhys has lots of potential, and we hope he can become a regular member of the Senior Team and represent the club for many years to come.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for Rhys and look forward to watching him continue his development in the black and gold.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome back 23-year-old Sam Cooper to the Senior Team.

Sam returns to the club after completing his Environmental Science degree at Aberystwyth University, where he also showed his leadership qualities by being appointed Aberystwyth University RFC Captain for the 2025/26 season.

Another product of our Mini & Junior section, Sam is a player who has always remained committed to the club. Even while away at university, he made himself available for Llantwit Fardre whenever he was home, showing his dedication to the club and his teammates.

An experienced front-row player, Sam is comfortable at both ho**er and prop and brings plenty of physicality, experience and versatility to the Senior Team.

Sam will play an important role within the Senior Team this season, and we’re looking forward to seeing him back in club colours.

📢Senior Player Recruitment

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Mabon Thomas to the Senior Team as he steps up to senior rugby.

Mabon is a very exciting young winger who can also operate at centre, giving the team plenty of attacking ability and versatility.

A former Ysgol Garth Olwg pupil, Mabon has already enjoyed success at youth level, including winning the Welsh Cup.

He made his Senior Team debut at this summer’s Sardis Road 7's, and certainly didn’t look out of place. Mabon impressed against Premiership-level opposition and experienced senior players.

It was a fantastic introduction to senior rugby and a great indication of the potential Mabon has.

We’re really excited to see how he develops over the coming seasons and believe there is a very bright future ahead of him.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Dylan Jones to the Senior Team.

Dylan is a hugely talented young ho**er who has already gained valuable experience at a high level of youth and college rugby.

A former Bryn Celynnog pupil, Dylan has played both ho**er and No.8, and represented Pontypridd Schools U16's District before progressing to play for the Coleg y Cymoedd 1st XV.

Dylan possesses an excellent skill set, particularly at ho**er, where his throwing at the lineout is a real strength. He is also an extremely physical and abrasive player, bringing plenty of aggression, work rate and intensity to his game.

We believe Dylan has all the attributes to make a big impact at senior level and are really excited to see how he develops within the Senior Team.

Another exciting young player coming through — and one we’re sure our supporters will enjoy watching.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Iori Edwards to the Senior Team.

Iori is a hugely talented young player with plenty of potential at senior level, and we’re really excited to see how he develops over the coming years.

A Garth Olwg pupil, Iori has already shown his versatility by playing across a number of positions.

He now begins his senior rugby journey as an open-side flanker, a position we believe will really suit his skill set, physicality and work rate.

Iori is a player who is fully committed on the field, with excellent skills and a great attitude towards his rugby. His ability to play across the pitch has given him a fantastic understanding of the game, and we believe there is a very exciting future ahead of him.

We’re looking forward to watching Iori develop, learn and establish himself within the Senior Team over the next few seasons.

📢Senior Player Recruitment

Llantwit Fardre RFC are pleased to welcome back 27-year-old Thomas Massocchi, following a lengthy lay-off due to a serious knee injury.

Thomas is an experienced forward who has represented Carmarthen Athletic, Cardiff Quins, Cardiff Met, and Llantwit Fardre RFC during his career.

Originally a loosehead prop, he has since transitioned into the back row, where his physicality and work rate have made him a valuable asset.

He was educated at Queen Elizabeth High School and represented Carmarthen Schools, as well as earning Scarlets honours at U16's and U18's level.

This will be Thomas’ fourth season with Llantwit Fardre RFC (having missed last season through injury). He has been sidelined for approximately 23 months.

After a long rehabilitation period, Thomas is now fully fit and ready to return to action, and we are delighted to see him back in a Llantwit shirt.

We look forward to seeing him back on the field in black and gold.

Senior Player Recruitment 🏉

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome back to the club 23-year-old Niall Jones, following a long lay-off from rugby.

Niall is another product of our Mini & Junior section, representing Llantwit Fardre from U6's right through to U16's, primarily playing at scrum-half.

During his junior years, Niall also represented Pontypridd Schools U11's and U16's, helping the U16's to Dewar Shield success.

He then spent two seasons with Ponty Youth, where he played on the wing and helped the team reach the Cardiff Cup Final.

After stepping away from rugby for around five years, following COVID, Niall has now returned to where it all started and we’re delighted to have him back involved with the Senior Team.

It’s fantastic to see another one of our own returning to the club, and we’re looking forward to seeing Niall back out on the field.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Tom Norcup to the Senior Team for the 2026/27 season.

Tom is a product of our Mini & Junior section and will make the step up to senior rugby this year. An exciting prospect at Outside Half, Tom is equally comfortable on the wing or at full-back.

A Garth Olwg boy, Tom has also represented Pontypridd Schools U16's and has impressed the coaching team throughout pre-season with his attitude, ability and skill set.

Tom also gained valuable experience with the Senior Team during the summer, representing the club at the Sardis Road 7's, where he showed that he is more than capable of making the step up.

We’re delighted to see another one of our own coming through the pathway and into senior rugby.
