It’s also a great opportunity to come and have a chat with us about positive reinforcement training, lessons, ALN sessions, archery and much more!

⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ ⚠️ ALL attendees, both adults and children, MUST wear closed-toe, sturdy footwear or wellies. 👢 We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable day, so please make sure you come appropriately dressed for being around horses and on the yard. Come along, meet the team, meet the ponies and have some fun with us! 🐴

🕔 Session times:

5:00–6:00pm
6:00–7:00pm

Suitable for ages 7 and over.

Each session is one hour and costs £35 per person, including horse hire.

Sessions are held in small groups, with coaching from Josh while Fiona gets back on her feet. 💚

Payment secures your booking, and spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

🌟Working Equitation Clinic – Spaces Still Available! 🌟

Join us on Saturday 15th August for a fantastic Working Equitation Clinic – the perfect opportunity to try something new, build confidence, and have fun with your horse!

🐴 Sessions available:
• £60 – 1-hour individual lesson
• £35 – 1-hour shared lesson
• £20 – Horse hire

Bring your horse OR hire one of our lovely horses!

Train with the brilliant Katherine Evans, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a full set of Working Equitation obstacles to challenge and inspire you and your horse.

✨ This clinic is ideal for all horse and rider combinations:
• Build confidence in both horse and rider
• Introduce your horse to new and interesting obstacles
• Improve communication and partnership
• Develop and refine your ridden skills
• Perfect for beginners or those looking to progress further

Sessions can be in-hand, ridden, or a combination of both – whatever suits you and your horse best!

Looking for a calm, supportive pony experience where every child is welcome exactly as they are?

Our Pony Day is designed for all abilities and confidence levels — from complete beginners to confident horse lovers, including anxious children and those with ALN (all children must be comfortable staying without a parent).

We work at each child’s pace, offering gentle encouragement in a low-pressure, nurturing environment.

At MVEC a Pony Day is about far more than riding. Children learn how to connect with horses kindly and respectfully, building confidence, empathy and understanding in a way that feels safe and enjoyable 🐎💚

🕙 Drop off: 10am

🕒 Pick up: 3pm

👧🧒 Ages: 6–18

(Younger children welcome if accompanied by a sibling or confident to be left)

🌱 What makes our Pony Day special:

• Open to anxious, confident, beginner and experienced children

• Inclusive andl supportive of children with ALN

• Hands-on learning about kind, horse-centred care

• Working with horses using positive reinforcement & clicker training

• Making enrichment activities for the horses to support mental stimulation and wellbeing
