Weโre really looking forward to this!
It will be great to celebrate the late Steve โJunnaโ Jones, a legend of the club, along with Pontypool United RFC 80 year anniversary!

No rugby this weekend due to bank holiday but the weekend after on Saturday September 5th a day of celebrations is in order.
On the very day 80 years ago in 1946 Pontypool United RFC played their very first game.
Pontypool RFC are coming up to Conway Road to play for the Juna cup, in memory of the late Steve Jones who tenaciously represented both United and Pontypool.
Kick off is at 3pm .
Looking forward to our mini and junior section performing a huge guard of honour.
Also taking part in the celebrations are our talented youth team who take on Merthyr Youth RFC kicking off at 12.00 Pm.
Please come and join in the celebrations.

Still only 24, Ben is a hard-working openside who brings plenty of experience and is looking to make a big impact this season.
