On behalf of the members of the Welsh Petanque Association we would like to wish Barbara Vaughan, Tansy Mayfield, Kym Jeffrey and Jayne Dunn safe travels and all the very best as they head off to Douais in France to participate in the 20th World Championship Triples: Women and the 13th World Championship Precision Shooting: Women, from 09 to 12 October. They will be supported by our Head of Delegation Tony Smith and National Coach Jean-Yves Robic.

A total of 43 federations from around the world have registered for what promises to be an exciting and highly competitive championship. Where allowed we will be hoping to provide some live action. The official Championship website can be located by clicking on the following link
