We are so excited to be welcoming Dave Schönthal to the team at Move.

Lizzie has known Dave for a long time as he used to practice with her before move opened, we are over joyed that he has done his teacher training and is able to join us here at Move ❤️

In his own words

‘I came to yoga through my background in running and dance, looking for a way to balance my high-impact training with deep stretching, strength work, and a greater sense of calm. More than a decade later, yoga continues to be a grounding and rejuvenating part of my life, and I love being able to share that experience through accessible vinyasa classes that weave together strength, mobility, balance, and mindfulness. My teaching encourages students of all levels to explore movement in a supportive, light-hearted way, with plenty of options offered throughout the class. I believe yoga should leave you feeling calm, connected, and empowered, and I like adding the occasional (optional) cheeky arm balance or inversion for those who fancy a challenge’

I’m Lizzie Manjon and I am the founder of Move Yoga Studio 💥

I founded Move because I believe in movement for everyone, creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, you can show up knowing you are safe, supported but also encouraged and challenged.

I have been practicing Yoga for over 17 years and teaching for almost 10.

I have three children, so life is busy and multitasking is key 🤪

I wanted to share this because, Move has always been my dream and building my community is totally magic ✨ on top of teaching weekly classes I do all of the running of the business, the timetable, the planning, the managing, the social media, the answering enquiries and the making sure you feel heard. It’s me 😆

Recently we have had lots of late cancels, no shows to classes when we have long waitlists. The impact this has on the business, my teachers and the wider community is huge. Though we know life happens please try to be mindful, a small business is one persons dream, livelihood and all these little ripples have a huge impact on our teachers, members and also those who want to join 🤸‍♀️🚀💥

You may have noticed a few small changes to our timetable, we have a slightly smaller timetable for July and August as we adapt to suit summer however in September we will be back with our biggest timetable ever 💥

For now remember to book your classes in advance as we are still very busy 🫶
