This Saturday sees both Hemsworth Miners Welfare CC teams take on Calder Grove CC — the 1st XI facing Calder Grove 1st XI at The Wells, while the 2nd XI travel to take on their 2nd XI.

After a long season of highs, lows, rain, big wins and plenty of cricket, it all comes down to this final Saturday. 💪

🏏 2ND XI | MATCH RESULT

HEMSWORTH MINERS WELFARE CC WIN BY 6 WICKETS! 💙

A brilliant all-round performance from the 2nd XI as they bowled Notton CC out for just 67 before chasing the target down in style, reaching 69/4.

A superb bowling display saw Elliot Roberts take 4/27 and Steven Biddulph claim 4/37, accounting for 8 of the 10 Notton wickets between them.

Andy Briggs also chipped in with an incredible 2/0 from just 0.4 overs! 🔥

Andy Briggs held his nerve to finish unbeaten on 36 and guide the Wells home.

🍔 DUKEY’S BBQ will be firing up on the patio next to the B**r Can Wheelbarrow Bar — serving up some proper BBQ favourites throughout the day! 🌭🍔🔥
