South Kirkby Colliery Cricket Club has been nominated for the Vico Homes Love Where You Live Awards 2026, and we’d love your support!

For us, cricket is about so much more than what happens on a Saturday afternoon. We’re proud to provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in cricket and be part of our club.

🧒 Free junior cricket for children across our community
🏏 Junior teams from U5 through to U18
👧 Developing girls’ cricket and creating more opportunities for girls to play
👩 Building our women’s section and working towards league cricket
⭐ Free opportunities for young people who may otherwise struggle to access sport
🤝 Inclusive cricket for players of different abilities
💙 A welcoming club where children can develop, make friends and grow in confidence
🌱 Volunteers giving their time week after week to coach, organise, maintain our grounds and keep the club running

We’re incredibly proud that we can offer junior cricket for free, helping remove financial barriers and making sure every child has the opportunity to discover a love of the game.

Everything we do is driven by volunteers who give up countless hours because they believe in the club and, most importantly, the community around it.
