ors are on hand to provide all the training you need to progress to solo standard and beyond. We offer the chance for anyone to experience gliding through a number of day membership options or why not buy a trial flight voucher for someone as a unique gift for any occasion? Situated on the edge of the scenic Yorkshire Wolds we benefit from thermal and wave flying with the club height record standing at 27,000ft. During the summer we have a keen group of regular cross country pilots with the current club record standing at 750km in one flight. In 2013 the WGC fielded 3 pilots representing Great Britain in international competitions, along with 2 team captains. We continue to have pilots competing at national and international level, who also form part of our instructing team!
