🏏 Player of the Week 🏏

There were some more outstanding performances on the final weekend of the season once again including…..

Freddie Forman (3-44) with wickets in the 1sts home defeat alongside Dave Chaplin (2-32) whose two wickets took him to the 40 mark for the season 👏 Martin Stables (63) hit a well played half century earlier in the game 💪

John Fiorentini (4-62) & Lewis Chaplin (3-49) were both in the wickets for the 2nds whilst Matt Atkinson (94) also hit a half century 🏏

In the Sunday team George Room (3-15) rounded off a great year with the ball with more wickets 🏏

In the 3rds the evergreen Geoff Woodward (5-29) showed there is plenty left in the tank with one of three honours board entries on the day 🙌

Captain Wes Smith (109) finished his season in style with a superb century and probably wasn’t expecting to be outdone 🏏

The Amy At Specsavers Pocklington sponsored Player of the Week though for the second week running goes to Adam Tolley (165*) who hit a superb unbeaten century and one of the clubs highest ever scores. There was also a 256 run partnership with his skipper Wes Smith as the pair recovered from 15-3👏🏏

Our Pocklington Recreational Women’s Team are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and supportive coach to join our team! ❤️🖤

We’re all about football, friendship, fitness and having fun while helping our players develop and grow together both on and off the pitch.

📍 The Henery, Thirsk Academy, Pocklington
📅 Training every Tuesday | 7–8ish
⚽ Games approximately once a month
🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Open to male or female applicants

You don’t have to be the finished article, just the knowledge to help develop the ladies team who is a squad of 21, we play 7 aside football. We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, encouragement and a love for the game as much as we all love it.
