A Little about us......

Plympton Victoria RFC was founded in 1994, by the merger of Plympton RFU and Victoria RFU. We currently run 1 senior side that competes in Devon Tribute 2 League and are working with 2 local schools and the RFU to launch a junior section representing Plympton and the surrounding area. The squad has a rich cocktail of exuberant youth and timeless experience, allowing everyone to develop all areas of their game. We are always looking for new players of all levels and ages from 17+ years, we are also looking non-playing volunteers to help run this local club. The club offers excellent coaching, an enthusiastic management team and a group of players who work hard together on and off the pitch to support their love of rugby. New players are assured of a warm welcome and genuine interest in helping them develop any area of their game, whilst having some good times along the way. Come along and say Hello, improve your personal fitness and enjoy all that rugby in Devon has to offer!!

Scott McCaw has walked through the doors at Plym Vic and wasted absolutely no time making an impression. 💪🏉

After wanting to get back into the game, Scott’s eyes were turned by what’s happening at PVRFC…

Big mistake. 😂

Now he’s turned up with one mission:

🏉 Teach the lad how rugby is actually played.

First season with PVRFC and Lorne is ready to remind his son that being younger doesn’t automatically make you better. 👀

The lad might have brought him through the door, but make no mistake — Dad’s here to take over. 💪😂

Now we just sit back and wait for the inevitable father-son showdown…

Not the result we were hoping for, but plenty of positives to take from the game. 💪

A good, hard-fought game played in great spirits 🤝🏉

There’s plenty to take back to training — things to work on, things to sharpen up, and plenty of positives to build on.

Pre-season is all about putting the work in, learning, improving and getting ready for the real thing. 🔥

A genuine speedster who already knows how to cause problems, but this season Riley wants more than just being the bloke who runs fast.

🚨 GAME CANCELLED — BUT THE SHOW GOES ON! 🚨

Unfortunately, tomorrow’s PVRFC v OPM Jesters pre-season friendly has been cancelled, with the opposition unable to raise a side.

The lads are understandably gutted 😔 — they’ve been putting in the work and were desperate to get out there and pull on the red, black & yellow.

But one thing this squad isn’t going to do is let it affect the spirits. 💪

So… if we can’t play rugby, we’ll find another way to put the work in! 👊

🏉 Extra training session — get the bodies moving and keep building.

🍻 Then it’s time for some serious team “bonding” up at the Legion. 👀

Because building a team isn’t just about what happens on the pitch.
