That’s a wrap 🎬
The Division 5 Outlaws have completed their inaugural season in the league.
18 players in D5 played in their first ever competitive league fixtures this season!
Thank you to every player who pulled on the orange jersey of the Outlaws this year! The results weren’t always easy to come by, but the development within this group has been absolutely incredible.
Thank you to the South West and Wales Baseball League league and the British Baseball Federation as well as all the clubs we played against.
The future is bright. The future is orange 🧡

The Arcane Blade Barbershop MVPs for yesterdays games are:
D4 - Danidu Samarakoon. For being an absolute rock at 3B and for excellent batting all day
D5 - Game 1 - Callum Lyons. For going 2/3 with 2 runs scored at 3 stolen bases. All whilst guiding the defence as catcher
D5 - Game 2 - Erin Owen’s. Reaching base safely in every plate appearance with 4 walks! Scoring 2 runs and 1 stolen base. All whilst making her debut as a catcher (becoming the first female player to suit up behind the plate for the Outlaws)

It proved to be one step too far for the D4 Outlaws as our league playoff journey comes to an end.
It was a high quality and passionate game from the start but ultimately the Outlaws couldn’t bring home the victory
We’d like to thank the Newton Abbot Brewers for several great games of baseball this season. We’d also like to publicly congratulate them on yesterdays win - they were simply the better team on the day 👏
That’s not all for the Outlaws though! Even though our regional campaign is over we still have the British National playoffs coming up in September thanks to our league topping regular season
