This year our CREWS will have TWO SETS EACH; one Street-based and one Commercial/Choreo based 🔥

After being formed in May 2013, the internationally-recognised 'Groovement Project Dance Company' currently provides the widest range of high level of dance training in the region; taught by some of the top teachers in the south-west in our Performing Arts Complex in Plymouth City Centre. 🌎✨
We are giving you/your child a chance to join one of our title-winning STREET DANCE CREWS specialising in Street Dance, Commercial and Choreography, and/or one of our TECHNIQUE COMPANIES specialising in Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical and Musical Theatre (singing ability not necessary), whilst also incorporating Acro training 🤩
As well as having the opportunity to be a part of these hugely successful UK-leading crews and companies, you will be joining our incredible GP Family where you will receive constant support and mentorship, for all dancers ages and levels, as well as gain some new amazing friends, and get to travel around the UK and internationally doing what you love 💜
Our Street Dance crews have a staggering 80+ CHAMPION TITLES between them... We are pretty sure this is UNMATCHED at any dance company in the UK! 🥇
Our Technique Companies have also been smashing it; building on their previous mass of wins with over 40 WINS already from 2022-2026 also! 🔥👏
The past year has already been very successful for our GP Family, with us picking up over 600 TROPHIES over the past 12 months; gained from both of our crew and company dancers! 🏆🤩
Our titles have been won by our crews and companies of all ages across the board; from Under 10s to Over 18s; from Beginners to Advanced! ✨
Individually, as well winning a mass of individual competition and battle titles; our dancers have gained global recognition in the process, with some of our dancers also part of worldwide leading international dance crews🏅🌎
Other credits for our dancers include over 30 of our dancers going on to train at some of the most prestigious dance colleges and universities in the UK, our performers being cast for big acting and commercial jobs such as Disney movies, performing at Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland California 4 times across 2015-2025, winning ‘UK Unsigned,’ being hand-picked to be part of multiple prestigious training programmes, the Matilda UK Tour, the BBC's 'Malory Towers,' Ammonite and the London West-End's 'School Of Rock; as well as performing at numerous local events such as the Christmas Lights Switch-On, Plymouth Argyle Half-Time Show, charity events, plus a haul of individual and group competition titles and credits also!
In 2025 ALONE, we had 42 PROFESSIONAL CASTINGS in TV, FILM and THEATRE 🎬🎭
As a GPDC Crew/Company member, you will also have many EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITIES, including having the chance to be part of our official SUPER LEAGUE BASKETBALL DANCE SQUAD, who perform at the Finals in front of DAZN & YouTube Cameras at leading arenas all over the UK including the London O2 Arena 🏟
This is in addition to having access to learning from WORLD-CLASS DANCERS & TEACHERS through various international and national workshops throughout the year! 👀🌟
