Hi everyone! 👋

I’m conducting a research study for my thesis on the psychological factors, experiences, and coping strategies that influence rugby union players’ readiness to return to sport following a serious injury. If you tick all of the following below I would love to hear from you!

- Male and female rugby players
- Must be a rugby union player.
- Played rugby at any standard competitively.
- Is currently going though rehabilitation or
- Is currently on the return to play phase of rehabilitation or
- Has returned to rugby union from a serious injury in the past year.
- Aged between 18-50 years old.

By participating, you’ll be helping to shed light on the mental aspects of injury recovery and contribute to better support for athletes in the future. Participation involves a short interview or survey and is completely confidential.

ACT 🤝 Marjon BUCS Football

What a season 2023/24 has been. A lot of highs all throughout the season with some incredible friends made. I can’t thank you all enough for the best season and my first in football. 3 cups, 1 league promotion and 3 varsity wins 🤍

(*BASRaT is the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers. It is the governing body for graduate level sports rehabilitation and training in the UK)

Here is your Tamar Saracens squad to take on Old Technicians RFC at Brickfields tonight.

In the forwards,
We see three changes in the pack, as we welcome back big Tom Hicklin into a strong front row. Hard-runner Jordan Maddocks returns this week, to replace injured Marc Cioffi & Captain Joey Pook gives us a massive boost at 8 to form a tasty backrow with Scotty Cooper & Josh Heath.

In the backs,
We see five changes from last weekend, as our centres has a reshuffle as influencial Greg Parrott returns to form a partnership with summer signing Joe McKinley, with powerful runner Reece Boase to come off the bench! We see Lew Harris return at 9 & also see Josh Perkins & Dane Waryck to cause problems out wide, as the latter starts on the bench.
