Such a productive 3 hour session today!
A whole bedroom full of adult and baby clothes got sorted through and bagged up into sizes. And then the clothes that stayed have been hung up or packed away. What a result!
I wasn't taking all these bags away today, my client was donating them to family members, but gosh what a difference a few hours can make!

Oh the summer holidays are officially over with the oldest starting secondary school tomorrow 🥹
We've had the best time, exploring hidden gems around Devon and Cornwall and enjoying time with family and friends. And there's been a lot of delicious food too!
Fully back to work for me this week with three new clients to meet! Exciting that we're just about to embark on their decluttering journeys together...

For me, this is always a clear sign of me trying to run down the fridge as part of the prep for going away!
Frozen veg won't always keep their original texture but they're ideal for throwing in a soup, stew, curry or pasta sauce.
I've actually used peppers straight from the freezer into a mix of fresh ones to roast and they came out perfectly fine!

One of two trolley loads going to a charity shop!
This is what happens when you need to donate some goodies, stupidly choose the shop that doesn't have parking nearby (as we were in the area) and your osteopath has told you to lay off lifting for a while!!
Luckily, as it's the holidays, I had my two little helpers to assist me too 🤩

Carpet. You wouldn't think there's much to get excited about when it comes to carpet but you'd be wrong!
When you've not managed to see the carpet of a room for months, when you do, it is actually very exciting!
And, today, I was so pleased with the progress that we'd made in our session that I did a little dance on that new found flooring!
There's still more to be done in that room but you've got to celebrate the wins!

July has been hectic, so on this week's To Do list....
Actually find time to empty out our garage of all the items I've removed from other people's homes during sessions and take them to charity!! 😂
