🏉 NEW SEASON. SAME ANCIENT ENERGY.🪓
They say history doesn’t repeat itself, but it definitely laces up rugby boots.
Our clubhouse sits right next to an actual Viking battlefield. Coincidence? Absolutely not. Thousands of years ago, warriors fought right outside our front door.
Today, the Valkyries are still running the pitch, choosing who gets smashed, and clearing out rucks like it’s a blood feud.
The only real differences?
Our ancestors ran across hills carrying heavy axes. We do identical, agonising cardio during fitness drills, but with a whistle-happy coach screaming at us instead of Odin.
Our post-match drinks happen in a licensed bar fit for kings and queens instead of Valhalla (though the hangover feels exactly the same)
Make no mistake: our post-match recovery is pure hard work, sweat, and 💯 determination. We train like deities to play like demons. 😈
We are officially recruiting for the new season! Whether you are an experienced shieldmaiden or have never held a rugby ball in your life, we want you. We will teach you how to tackle, build elite endurance, and dominate the pitch.
Pre-season training is underway Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm.
Come down, find your horde, and let’s make the ancestors proud.
Bring boots/trainers and water. Leave your fears at the gate. Axes optional. 🪓🛡️
