All eyes may be on Royal Birkdale this week for the Open Championship, but we all know the big tournament is right here. πŸ˜‰ πŸ†

Good luck to everyone teeing it up this week for our Men’s 4 Day Open. The course is looking great and we are ready for a brilliant four days of competitive links golf.

Play well and enjoy the week.

Massive congratulations to Cruden Bay member Chris Gilbert and the rest of the NE District team on qualifying for the Area Team Championship finals.

To turn it around for a 6-3 win after being 3-0 down in the morning foursomes is some going.

Brilliant effort from Chris and the whole team, and best of luck heading to Largs in September.

A honeymoon to remember. πŸ₯‚⛳️

It was brilliant to welcome Brian Jenkins and his new wife Laura to Cruden Bay recently. It was also their very first game of golf in Scotland - what a place to do it!

We love hearing feedback like this, and we are so glad we could add a little extra magic to such a special trip. Congratulations to you both from everyone at the club, and we hope you had a fantastic day on the links.

That view from the lounge never gets old. 🍹 🌊

Whether you are hitting a few warm up balls on the driving range before you head out, or sitting back with a drink after surviving the dunes, the clubhouse is the perfect spot to take it all in.

There is nothing quite like watching the groups head out while looking across the links to the sea.

First light over the links. πŸŒ…β›³οΈ

Nothing beats the course when it is this quiet. Fresh air, empty fairways, and a full day of golf ahead.

Two massive weeks of links golf ahead. β›³ πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ

With the Scottish Open starting next week followed straight after by the Open Championship, all eyes are on this side of the world. There is nothing quite like this time of year when the best players on the planet have to tackle true links conditions.

It makes you just want to grab your clubs and get out there.

That first tee feeling. πŸ€πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ

There is a great buzz around the first tee, watching groups gather, swap tips, and share a bit of banter before heading out into the dunes.

Whether you are playing with a regular partner or meeting a local caddie for the first time, those few minutes before the first swing are what make Cruden Bay so special.

The hidden gem.

While the Championship Course takes the headlines, the St Olaf course is a vital part of the experience here. Regularly voted one of the best nine-hole courses in the country, it sits right alongside the main course on that same authentic links turf.

It is the perfect choice for a quicker round or for sharpening your short game on authentic links turf.

Framed by the North Sea. 🌊

The dramatic dunes, the beach, and the sea create a backdrop that makes every round here memorable. It is a rugged landscape shaped by nature, right on the Aberdeenshire coast.
