⛡️ We had a great night at Rosehearty Community Boat Club. Lots of people of all ages out on the water including some young people from the Rosehearty village who just started sailing last week.

Good to see everyone having fun and getting on well. It's what it's all about. We are looking forward to the next one.

Our Kitchen has had a makeover! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

The old kitchen had served the club for over 30 years, but it was becoming worn and no longer met the needs of everyone who visits the club. Thanks to support from the Banff and Buchan Coastal Communities Fund, we have now completed a full refurbishment.

The new kitchen provides modern units, appliances and improved storage, creating a brighter and more practical space for everyone. The project was completed with the help of volunteers and trades people. It's been a fantastic transformation by a skill-full team with a quick refurb time during the clubs busiest period.

This is one of the most used areas of the club providing somewhere to prepare hot drinks and meals after time on the water as well as supporting training, youth activities and community events throughout the year.

We are looking forward to seeing it well used for many years to come. 🌊

We were delighted to welcome the Big Bear Voyage to the club during their visit to Peterhead. It was fantastic to meet the crew and hear more about their incredible 2,200-mile voyage around the UK, raising awareness and funds for BBC Children in Need. Of course, Pudsey also made a special appearance, bringing plenty of smiles!

If you didn’t get the chance to meet the team at the club, they’ll be at Victoria Park on Saturday 4th July from 12:00pm. Pop along to meet Pudsey, chat with the crew, and find out more about the voyage and the important cause they’re supporting.

We would like to say a huge well done to the 39 sailors who took part in our 13th Aberdeenshire & City Schools Regatta.

We had a breezy weekend for our training then a more settled day for our regatta, it has been great to see sailors from across the City and Shire representing their schools.
