Boddam started the game off brightly and took an early lead through Daniel Innes after 8 minutes. Boddam created further chances and were hard done by not winning a penalty as referee waved play on. Peterhead United equalised when the left winger cut inside and fired a shot from edge of area into bottom corner. Peterhead United took a lead into half time after scoring a 2nd, identical to their equaliser.
Boddam started the 2nd half poorly and half arsed and found themselves 4 down within 15 minutes of the restart. Boddam finally woke up in final 20 minutes, with Matthew Daniel pulling a goal back with 12 minutes left. Kyle Dickson made it 4-3 with a couple minutes left, but it was too late for Boddam to find an equaliser.

Last night Boddam United faced a Banff Rovers team challenging for the title. As expected, Boddam were put under pressure from kick off. Against the run of play, Callum Elphinstone gave Boddam the lead with a great strike from distance into the corner of the net. Banff kept pushing and some fine saves from Matthew Daniel kept Boddam ahead. Despite the pressure Boddam kept battling away and passing the ball with confidence. A minute before half time, Boddam gave the ball away in their own half and Banff capitalised to grab the equaliser. 1-1 at half time
Banff again started strongly in the 2nd half and grabbed another couple of goals to make it 3-1. Boddam didn't give up and pulled a goal back through Ross Penny to make it 3-2. Banff secured the win, adding a 4th at the end.

Always going to be a tough match but made it a difficult night for Banff.
