The school holidays are nearly over (stop cheering parents!) but there's still a few days left to entertain the little ones, and we can help you out there!

Our junior rugby training is every Sunday from 10.30-11.30 and it's completely free to try!

We will be running an exclusively GIRLS ONLY rugby taster session on Sunday 13th September.

That's right, GIRLS ONLY! No smelly, obnoxious boys here!

This taster session is open to all girls from ages 4 upwards

There's been a perception for years that rugby is a "boys sport" but England's Red Roses are leading the way in changing that view. The reigning World and Six Nations champions, they're blazing a trail for the rest of the sport.

And your little one could be part of the next generation that drives the women's game to even greater heights!

The wonderful thing about rugby is that it doesn't matter if you're big or small, tall or short, there's a role for everyone in a rugby team, all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

And the best bit of all? The session is completely free!

There's no booking process, you can just turn up on the day and get stuck in. That said, we'd love it if you dropped us an email to say you're coming so we can plan the best day possible and show you how much fun rugby can be!

There's many ways you can support the club, from active volunteering roles to just turning up on a Saturday to support the lads and buy a pint.

There's one way though that doesn't even require you to move from your comfortable spot in front a fan on the sofa! (We know that's what you're doing in this heat, we're doing the same!) And that is buying a ticket to the club lottery.

As well as the big monthly prize draws there is a weekly draw every Friday where you could be in with the chance of winning up to £250!

Not only that, but buying just one ticket a month gets you a Gourmet Club membership which provides you discounts of up to 50% at locations such as Bella Italia, Papa Johns, Odeon, Legoland and many more.

A ticket costs just £10 a month and out of that £6 comes straight back to the club as a tax free grant helping us to work towards long-term capital projects such as improved floodlights, new pitch maintenance equipment and expansion of the clubhouse.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Don't forget that registration for the new season is now open. You must be club registered in order to play senior rugby.

Since the 2025 season it has been the responsibility of all players to manage their playing registration.

Don't worry though, it's dead easy! Just follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Head to https://www.englandrugby.com/play/register-play and login to your account
2. Hit "Renew Registration"
3. Confirm you details are correct.
4. Kick back with a cold drink knowing you are ready for the new season!
