Landing ‘Penny’ and ‘Golden eye’ made my birthday session on kingfisher Bluebell Lakes very enjoyable. 🎣 9 landed and lost 1 🎣. Mix of tactics as always. Somehow managed to land Golden eye again for the 3rd time in a row, I think he likes me (it’s definitely a male fish).

🎣 15 bites and 10 landed to 45lb🎣 on Kingfisher.

After not fishing for over 2 months due to filming commitments with work, I managed to Squeeze in a few days on kingfisher Bluebell Lakes and Kept my roll of 40’s going by landing a 45lb common off the top making it my 4th 40 in the 5 sessions on Kingy this season.
It was hard work in the heat and w**d but managed 15 bites landing 10. Managed to catch a fish from each bank of the lake ☺️. But landing a 45lb common off the top in a w**d choked lake was the highlight for me.

My 3rd session on kingfisher Bluebell Lakes ended with 6 bites and my 3rd 40lber in a row along with 3 other lovely commons to 39lb.

I continued to chop and change tactics every day, with 3 bites off the bottom, 2 on zigs and 1 off the top. All caught using CC Moore & Co Ltd.

HAND LINING A MID 40 COMMON! Just got back from my 2nd trip on kingfisher Bluebell Lakes and now feel like a tribal amazon rainforest hunter.
After a tricky few days losing 2 fish from fishing 2 other swims my final move paid off when a double take came in the last hour of darkness. The first rod I picked up of the double take managed to go through the other fish and created a birds nest of line. After slipping the net under the first fish snubnose @ 29lb+, I was left with no other choice but to hand line in whatever was on the end of the 2nd rod peeling off into the horizon. 10 mins later with a few line burns in the palm of my hand i unglamorously waded out with the net between my legs to bundle in another kingfisher original in the shape of Phet Head @ 44lb 8oz. A Prostim wafter CC Moore & Co Ltd and a few freebies doing the trick again.
