On this week’s Slapshot Special Rossy sits down with Caden Villegas following his whirlwind first season in British hockey with the Swindon Wildcats 🏒😼

After starting the season in the ECHL with the Maine Mariners, Caden arrived in Swindon midway through the campaign and immediately hit the ground running — scoring 16 goals and adding 25 assists in just 22 league games as the Wildcats went on to lift the league championship. 🏆

Caden reflects on arriving in a new country halfway through the season, building chemistry with Aaron Nell and Logan Vande Meerakker, and what it was like to walk into a championship-winning group.

With Aaron retiring and Logan moving on, Caden also looks ahead to a very different Wildcats side for 26/27 and the challenge of building on last season's success.

Pre-season friendlies kick off this weekend across the NIHL National, giving us our first real look at how these rosters are taking shape on the ice.

We’ve updated our team graphics with all the latest summer sign-offs and confirmed additions. While rosters are coming together, there’s still plenty of time for late moves and final additions before the regular season begins! 🙌
