My client got her first push up. Not one of the five things that actually got her there was “do more push ups.” Wild, I know.
I think we’ve all been sold this idea that skill work is just brute repetition, fail the same rep enough times and your body eventually gets the memo. It doesn’t. All that does is teach you that trying feels like disappointment on a loop.
What actually worked was training the muscles that were carrying the movement instead of ignoring them and hoping. Not comparing her week one to someone else’s year three. Using regressions without treating them like the walk of shame version of the real thing. And still showing up on the weeks where absolutely nothing seemed to be happening, because most progress is invisible right up until it isn’t.
Strength is rarely loud, and it’s almost never the bit you’d film.
Which one of these do you need telling today?
And if you wanna finally get your first push up maybe DM me “STRONG” and we can have a chat 💪🫶

Things you will never, ever, ever see me do as a fitness coach.
I’m not going to tell you to skip your best mate’s birthday for macros, sell you a shred programme with a deadline attached to your worth, or pretend I’ve got my own life fully figured out while I coach you through yours.
Some of this is anti diet culture stuff. Some of it’s just me refusing to be the serious, buttoned up version of a coach, because that’s not who you’re getting anyway 🤪
You’re getting someone who cares more about how you actually feel or how strong you feel over just a number on the scale, who thinks a bad week is just a week, and who built a coaching style around real life instead of the version of it where nothing ever goes wrong.
If that sounds like a coach you actually want, stick around

A little update on my life for you…
I’ve spent most of my life introducing myself as “the athlete”. 2 world titles, a boxing career, competing on world stages before I’d even worked out how to be a “functioning” adult.
Then I had wrist surgery last year. Recovery was meant to be 12 to 18 months, and it’s still not done. Wildly unfunny amount of time when your entire personality has been “does sport.” Some days I’m fine, genuinely fine, cracking jokes, getting on with it like normal. Other days I still end up sat in the car after physio or work crying, because I still don’t fully recognise myself without training holding everything together.
Then in April, still mid recovery, I lost my uncle who was also a best mate to me. Grief doesn’t really stop or go away once the funeral’s over, it just changes shape, and I’m still figuring out what shape it’s taking right now.
Turns out when the thing you built your identity around disappears, and life hits you with something far bigger while you’re still finding your feet, you’re left with a question that doesn’t really go away. Who even am I right now? Some days I still don’t know and that’s ok.
It’s not a neat upward journey. It still isn’t. Some days everything feels genuinely good, then out of nowhere something hits me sideways, a memory, a wrist flare up, a wave I didn’t see coming, and I’m right back in it. That’s not me going backwards, that’s just what this actually looks like.
What I’ve learned, my worth was never sitting in the medals, and grief isn’t something you get over either. It’s just the love that’s still got nowhere to go, whether that’s for a person or for a part of yourself you’ve lost too. And I think griefs quite a beautiful thing in that way, it reminds you how much love there is.
I’m still rebuilding atm, not because I’ve failed at getting past it, but because rebuilding isn’t really a thing that finishes it just keeps going. That’s also the same thing I ask of the people I coach. Not smaller. Not perfect. Just willing to keep putting yourself back together, again and again, for as long as it takes.

We don’t post progress photos in this coaching, good that these numbers tell you something more important than a photo shows. The goal was never smaller. So instead I pulled up her numbers.
Across her five main lifts, a 170.27% strength increase in six weeks. Not from a shred programme. Not from cutting carbs to nothing. From progressive overload, a programme built around her actual life, and someone trusting the process past the point most people quit.
Same week, her training consistency sat at 10/10, nutrition at 8/10, and she rated her confidence walking into the gym a 9/10. That’s not a fluke week. That’s what structure looks like when you stop guessing and start following a plan that’s actually built for you.
Bigger number under the bar. Less intimidated walking through the gym doors. That’s the kind of progress I care about and the kind that makes lasting results body and mind.
If you want results like this and want to stop guessing what you’re doing in the gym, this is exactly what the coaching builds.
DM me “STRONG” and I’ll talk you through it.

Hills I will die on. As a coach and as a human.
I’m not here to make you smaller, tell you to earn your dinner, or pretend motivation is a personality trait. I built this whole page on the stuff most of the fitness industry won’t say out loud.
Swipe through. Some of these will annoy people. Good.
That’s kind of the point. 😌😘

I think meal prep gets a bad rep. It’s get the rep that it takes ages to do or that it needs to be boring meals like chicken and rice, but that’s the beauty with meal prep. It can be whatever you want it to be, whatever works for you.
That could mean some weeks it is quick and boring chicken and rice, or some days/weeks you get a little fancier and make something completely new. Meal prep is a tool to help you, to help make life a little easier, especially if your a busy person running 5million things, it takes away that added stress of “what am I going to cook” and just supplies the tools to stay fuelled, energised, and supported 💪
If you want to learn a little more about how to make meal prep stress free, dm me “PREP” and I’ll send it right over, free ofc xx
