Red beetroot is back on the list for Roy’s farmer’s market this weekend, along with butternut squash.

As usual, we have lots of potatoes: reds, whites, Picasso variety and new potatoes, as well as plenty of eggs, all laid by hens in the UK.

Roy and Mark will be in the Notcutts layby on Oundle Road, Peterborough from about 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Roy’s trailer is fully loaded and we are all set for another weekend in the lay-by — hopefully in cooler weather now!

We are fully stocked with eggs after running out last weekend. All eggs are laid by hens in the UK. We also have a lot of fruit this week, including Golden Delicious apples at five for £1 and Navel oranges also at 5 for £1.

Good produce at good prices, plain and simple, that’s what we are about.
