It’s game day - today see’s our ‘senior’ team take to the court for cup action against a talented squad. It’s set to be an exciting game.

Best thing? Every single player has been through our youth system and if you take the coach away, the average age is 16.4 😮

Can’t wait to see this group grow together over the course of the season - there will be success & heartbreak but big things coming!

Street Football match day 1

Huge day for the U10’s as they stepped up to the court with U11’s in a really competitive environment. Challenge today was to be hard to beat defensively & win our challenges. Boys delivered & were outstanding against academy opposition.

Did themselves, their families & the club proud today 🧡

Thank you Street Football Tournaments for having us in the U11 league - we look forward to match day 2.

Development day #1

Was great to get our Stanground & Nene Park development centres together for some valuable court time as those U7-14 showcased their futsal.

Next week, our squads get together for some internal fixtures.

Our U10s head to Luton today as they look to continue their development with another opportunity to test themselves against new opposition. This time, Academy teams one year up.

These experiences are so important for their growth,challenging them, building resilience, learning from different styles of play and, most importantly, giving them experiences they’ll remember. This one isn’t about the results, but after a dominant year at U9’s these boys need to experience the next step to further their development.

It’s all about development, learning and enjoying the journey 🧡

GOALKEEPERS WANTED!

At COPFC, we’re always complimented on the quality and talent of our goalkeepers and now we’re looking to add even more to our groups!

We’re looking for U6–U15 boys & U6-16 girls of all abilities, whether they’re just starting out in goal or already developing as a specialist GK.

⚽ SQUADS
We aim for 2 goalkeepers per squad session, giving GKs plenty of opportunities to train, develop and compete.

⚽ DEVELOPMENT CENTRES
We aim to have one goalkeeper per age group within each development centre. For example, our U7/8/9 Development Centre would have:
🧤 1 × U7 GK
🧤 1 × U8 GK
🧤 1 × U9 GK

This gives goalkeepers the opportunity to develop alongside their age group while also getting valuable experience in futsal.

• More touches of the ball
• Improved agility & movement

Train once or twice a week — in their group session, with the option to join our weekly GK-specific session as an extra.

Proud of Noah. 🧡

He’s been with us since the age of 7, so to see how far he’s come makes this one extra special.

Off the back of our recent trip to Italy, Noah was invited by one of the coaches out there to attend the Lithuanian U19 National Team training camp.

This weekend, he’s been out there training with the squad and has even represented them in an international fixture, wearing the number 11 shirt.

From joining us as at 7 years old to representing a national team at U19 level when just 16 is an amazing opportunity and what a journey for Noah.

Keep working, Noah. We’re incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see where this takes you next. 🧡
